Chapter 470 - 470: Scene Gradually Gets Out of Control

Li Zexuan played the role of Charlotte, while a crew member assists as the teacher.

In the segment, the characters’ actions weren’t very exaggerated. Given that they couldn’t reveal the dialogue, the next team member must rely on Charlotte’s facial expressions to guess the movie.

Li Zexuan’s performance was spot-on. However, the second performance by Li Zexin was questionable.

“Xiaofang is the supporting actor, and Xinxin should mainly observe Xuanxuan to see who he’s portraying,” the director said.

Li Zexin was confident. “Alright, let’s begin.”

Li Zexuan performed meticulously. Li Zexin watched him twice. Then he gestured to his brother as if to say, “This is easy!”

[Honestly, Xuanxuan’s performance is quite accurate, but his appearance and Charlotte’s don’t match at all.]

[Exactly! Xuanxuan is too refined and lacks humor. But Xinxin probably figured it out.]

[Guessing just from expressions is quite tough. Could Xinxin and Xuanxuan be on the same wavelength?]

Li Zexin started his performance.

First, he sat down. Then, he suddenly got up, narrowed his eyes, and frowned. His expressions were all over the place. The supporting actor, who was the staff, did his part.

However, Xinxin’s expressions and actions grew increasingly absurd. After the performance, he sat back down on the ground and kicked his legs. Every member of Bai Xue’s team tried hard to hold back their laughter.

Next, it was Wheatley’s turn. She watched Li Zexin.

Though she hadn’t guessed which movie scene it was, she tried to watch Li Zexin very carefully. From the way he sat down, then stood up, and then pretended to talk animatedly, she figured he was portraying a spoiled brat.

Wheatley nodded to indicate that she got it.

She let her imagination run wild. She unexpectedly lay on the ground and thrashed around.

[Starting with Xinxin, everything is going downhill.]

[Xinxin’s portrayal was about fifty percent accurate.]

[Did Wheatley build on Xinxin’s performance? She is portraying a mischievous child, right? I get it now! When you watch Xinxin’s last couple of foot stomps, they really do look like what a spoiled brat would do.]

[Did Xinxin really understand who he was portraying?]

[Probably not. Xinxin’s expressions look angry as though they’re portraying two arguing classmates.]

[Yes. Xuanxuan turned his head midway to pretend to look at Ma Dongmei. That’s the essence, but Xinxin didn’t capture it at all.]

[Who cares if it’s an accurate portrayal or not? As long as it’s entertaining, I love it. I’m laughing so hard. Hahaha…]

[Wheatley added even more flair. It disrupted the already off-track performance.]

[I’m only looking for fun too. Who cares about the result?]

[Wheatley and Xinxin are making me laugh so hard.]

[Imagine Magician Xiao trying to portray a mischievous child after Wheatley!]

[The last person is Mr. Li. I’m more curious about Mr. Li’s expressions.]

The staff collectively facepalmed. It was unbearable to watch this.

At least Wheatley portrayed a child quarreling effectively, even if it was far from what was meant to be. However, when it was Xiao Tianlin’s turn, he turned the quarrel into a street brawl.

He climbed up from the ground while clapping and stomping and jumped around with a furious face.

Finally, it was the last performance. Li Yanchen had figured it out. It was evidently a quarreling scene, but how did they choose such a negative element as a source? Besides, which movie features a quarreling scene with clapping, stomping, and nose-picking?

After a moment of thought, Li Yanchen guessed that it might be “The Petty Official.”

As soon as Xiao Tianlin started his brawl, several teammates gave Li Yanchen a thumbs-up. They were encouraging him. When Li Yanchen said it aloud, everyone suddenly understood.

“Dad’s guess seems quite accurate,” said Li Zexin.

Although Wheatley thought that the scene was of two quarreling children, she realized that Li Yanchen might be right. “You’re amazing, Uncle Li!” she said. Li Zexuan was flabbergasted. ‘What the heck!’

As the program replayed the performances of the latter participants, all members of Li Zexuan’s team fell silent. Li Zexuan’s performance was vastly different from Li Zexin’s.

“Li Zexuan performed as Charlotte, right?” Tao Jingyuan blurted out.

‘Charlotte?’ Li Zexin’s eyes widened in shock.

“Exactly, exactly! Charlotte wanted to switch seats with Ma Dongmei, so the staff member played the teacher.”

Li Yanchen was speechless.

“Do the later performances have anything to do with Charlotte?”

Xia Tianlin shrugged. “I don’t know. I copied it as it was. I basically replicated all of Wheatley’s movements.”

“Old Xiao, are you sure you and Wheatley had the same idea? Wheatley’s performance looked like two children bickering. Yours looked like a street brawl,” said Xia MO, who was on the other team.

The director announced the correct answer.

“It’s evident that everyone from Li Zexuan’s team performed well. Although they didn’t get it entirely right, they undoubtedly brought joy to everyone. “Charlotte’s Worries,” is the right answer. Next up, it’s the Bai Xue team’s turn. Get ready, everyone.”

Li Zexuan’s team moved back to their seats. Several of them were still savoring the previous performance. The process was more important than the result. They didn’t feel disappointed at all. It had been fun, after all.

“Li Zexin, you’re useless.” Li Zexuan looked at his younger brother with disdain.

“Was my performance that bad? It was almost as good as yours,” Li Zexin said stubbornly.

“Brother Xinxin, be brave enough to admit your mistake. Brother Xuanxuan’s performance was very good. It became more absurd as we went along,” said Wheatley. “I’m sorry I made it worse.”

Seeing Wheatley admitting her mistake so sincerely, Li Zexin felt awkward.

“It’s mostly my fault. I admit I couldn’t guess what my big brother was portraying. I thought it was two children quarreling,” Li Zexin said.

Xiao Tianlin comforted the two kids. “It’s fine! It’s already impressive that you could perform it the way you did. Besides, it was fun.”

Li Yanchen also consoled the two children. “This is just the first round. Participation is what matters.”

[Don’t blame yourselves. Everyone did great.]

[I’m laughing so hard that I’m in tears.] [Me too. Seriously, Magician Xiao’s portrayal of the quarrel is really spot on.] [It’s exactly like the fights I remember.] [Has anyone turned their performances into memes? Please share them.]

[I did. Here, let me share some memes.]

“Team Bai Xue, it’s your turn,” the director announced..
