Chapter 543 543. BEAUTY OF A BEAST
The skies rumbled and the winds blew violently. The individuals of Noah's group allowed their auras to run freely whilst they pushed the shock from Noah's strength to the back of their heads.
Screams of terror unfolded in the city as those resident to the city found huge chunks of grey rocks slamming into their habitations, crushing hundreds and killing a few thousand when they exploded.
Balls of blue flames landed on the city and turned everything into char. Thousands died without even feeling the heat that killed them. This was the power of the fourth tier.
Noah watched his people wreak havoc from above the city. His gaze remained calm as always and his eyes scanned the central regions of that city. It was big. So much so that he doubted their ability to destroy a significant portion in time.
Some of the twelve had immediately traveled miles deeper into the city and he could witness the explosions their power caused. It had barely been twenty seconds but they had already removed tens of thousands.
"They might be enough if we are given a bit more time," Noah muttered even if he didn't see that happening.
The very terrain of the city suddenly saw huge portions giving birth to magical circles radiating dangerous auras.
Four powerful auras unfolded into the world as four giant's made out of vines sprung forth from those magical circles.
"They are already on the move," Noah muttered, shaking his head when nine foreign presences spread in the city and went forward to clash with his group mates. He unfolded his aura and closed his eyes.
Thanks to his advancement, Noah's mental waves could reach shocking limits of expansion, he could find all nine of those enemy experts, and also the vine giants.
The sky rumbled as an immense dark cloud unfolded high above the city its size remaining stunning for the amount of energy that burnt simply for that manifestation would be great.
Noah opened his eyes and the sky saw a blinding flash of silver light filling it, followed by the roaring of the electrical discharge.
Noah's group mates had already begun to flee the area close to the nine experts when they saw that cloud. Noah had utilized his lightning affinity more than enough time for its power to be etched into their minds.
The results were spectacular.
Noah had only targeted the exactly 13 tier 4 beings that didn't belong to him, but the city had suffered the event. Many thousands died as a result.
His bolts had unleashed their full power on the peak-middle stage tier 4 giants and instantly turned them to ash before exploding in a massive wave of flames.
The cultivators and elves had it better. Noah had never aimed at instantly killing them, but put just enough to make their figures slam into the ground, hurting them.
One expert, in particular, had landed inside the 6-kilometer-wide hole Noah's punch had created. The man speedingly evaluated his chances of winning the battle and tried to flee.
"One is on the run. Through the tunnel we created. Find him and kill him. The rest of you can now leave the battle," Noah ordered through his mental waves and his real voice carried by his power. That event alone caused huge cracks to unfold in the lands.
They had not spent up to a minute on the battlefield, but it was already time to unleash his assets before he killed them himself.
Those experts nodded at his command. Three shot after the fleeing man, while the remaining nine flew high into the sky. Noah's punch had actually destroyed the entire barrier leaving the sky open for free movement.
"What have you done, you savages!" A masculine voice not belonging to the manner of speech native to the people of Cusk rang out. Followed by the ascending of a pillar of bright green flames. An elf.
"Nothing new to this war," Noah responded sitting cross-legged while still in the sky. A conversation held within his mind.
The elf in question remained silent at that point while the remaining seven gathered around Noah's figure even if they kept a significant distance between him and them.
"The people up there are mad at you for what the order has done to us. Unfortunately, they are not strong enough to properly deliver any major blows. That's why I'm here. At least we are." Noah explained shrugging.
Each of those experts glanced up to see those experts already more than their numbers. Worry appeared on their faces.
"Don't worry they won't interfere in this battle. I won't too," Noah revealed. His last words drew confusion even on the faces of the experts high up.
"Confusing? Well sorry," Noah waved allowing white cracks to appear on his chest. A cerulean streak shot out of his figure to transform into a large figure no less than 50m in height.
An aura of terrible power unfolded into the world at that event. Those experts felt a beastly gaze fall on them while their eyes inspected the huge beast before them. Ignoring its beauty for a short period, they took note of the danger it represented in their minds.
"It's goodbye now. Or forever" Noah's voice came from the beast's figure and those experts thought he had actually transformed into a magical beast.
"What sort of monster are you!" One of the elves exclaimed with that thought in mind. Noah ascended, however, shocking them.
"She'll be your opponent now. Goodbye," Noah bowed shooting out of the city.
"You should also follow," His voice boomed forth, alerting his teammates who chased after him. 'That entire city is done.'
When Noah and his teammates were out of the city, Erolia raised her golden beak to the sky; voicing a powerful high-pitched cry.
The world trembled and the sky shook as a huge cloud converged high above the city. The rumbling of lightning filled the world and those experts unleashed their attacks on the giant beauty of a beast.
Erolia disappeared with a powerful bang while her cloud unleashed its bolt on the world below.
Cerulean, golden, and silver lights flooded the world as the raging of a multicolored lightning bolt buried all other sounds to ravage its targets.
An explosion of incredible scale unfolded into the world as the escaping experts watched and felt shock waves hit their figures even from that distance!
They glanced at Noah and felt even more reverence seep into their hearts.
Noah remained calm as ever, but only he knew those bolts were stronger than even his. His pet truly was a monster. A monster that could hurt him with its casual attacks. Of course, this was due to the nature of the energy that had birthed it.
