Chapter 447 447. UNAVAILABLE
The world continued to speed by below Noah's carriage. The sun stood high up in the sky bathing the world of Cregar with its light.
Noah had begun to wonder what existed in the other continents. Those thoughts and imaginations had brought about bountiful excitement, even if he kept it hidden from the world around him.
Hours had passed since they took off from the Barculos region, and different conversations had unfolded, but eventually, everyone went back to their own thing.
Noah's head lay on the window closest to him and he stared at the world below. Rivers passed, hills passed, mountains passed, expansive forests passed, and gradually, settlements began to unfold.
Incredible.
Although he had long since stopped counting, Noah could be certain that they had flown over more than half a thousand towns or villages or even small cities.
The land area that belonged to the Cusk nation was immense. It was even more shocking considering the fact that they were practically flying on a straight path, with minor curves.
'Just how many people are in the world,' Noah thought in wonder, surely their population would be on par with that of earth.
The event made him wonder just how little the number of humans who had stepped on the cultivation journey was.
He had not been privileged enough to explore most of the land area of that nation due to his tight schedule, but he figured one day he would.
At some point, the group of 115 carriages suddenly sped up, covering more distance in a shorter amount of time.
Noah and the others still wondered why they had not allowed the beasts travel at their peak speed.
The sudden acceleration brought with it a foreboding feeling, and when a knock arrived on their door everyone knew something was up.
Dere entered again, his youthful features more visible in the daylight.
"I hope you had a peaceful night," the expert tried to ease the growing tension his presence brought, but he failed.
"What is it?" Noah had been the first to ask. But he did so as gently and respectfully as he could.
Dere remained silent for a short while, before nodding.
"We are anticipating a battle in the minutes to come," the expert started and his words brought a wave of surprise, even Noah didn't expect anything close to that.
"But do not worry you will be kept safe." He assured.
"Why?" Madison voiced her thoughts, a frown evident on her face. She didn't like that situation but the calm expression on Noah's face made her calm down significantly.
"In a normal situation that information should be left untold to you, but things are different. You all are currently my superiors, and I was given the go-ahead by Commander Glee," Sir Dere explained, making sure they understood.
All three experts nodded in understanding and he opened his mouth to continue.
"With the help of the guilds, the royal family has ga8ined information of the base of a group of high-tier bandits wreaking havoc in the regions closest to them."
"They have been shifty for a few years now and have managed to escape the royals every time they made a move on them. But the royal council concluded that someone from the inside always gave away their plans, assisting the criminals," he paused.
"How does that change anything this time," Bon furrowed his brows. "The royals asked for our help wouldn't the traitor still know?"
"In normal situations, yes, but plans were made to not give away our intentions."
"We are only the group meant for the tour, but a trustworthy person going by the name of Elder Malachi has relayed the message to us." The mention of the familiar name made Noah clench his teeth.
"There's a fake group who were to arrive the day after tomorrow. We believe the bandits will be preparing to move before then. A weak moment for them," Dere explained.
Silence reigned in the carriage at that point. The plan looked sound.
"Is that why we made a stop?" Madison asked trying to piece all the information together.
"Yes. Sir Malachi and his group were received," Dere revealed, and Noah felt his stomach twist in shock.
His eyes widened for an instant before he regained his composure. All of his shock and even fear were sent into his mind.
Noah's strange reaction had been noticed by the others but no one addressed it.
"For the sake of your peace of mind, have I come to tell you all this. But once again we have everything under control," Dere assured again.
The three experts nodded, but Noah had lost his cool. Anger burnt within him, but also fear. He thought he had overcome it, but for some reason, he felt fear at the mention of the man's presence.
Maybe it was due to his circumstance. He didn't want to be found out, even if he could actually escape it.
Noah took silent deep breaths to calm himself down. He had faced stronger foes than the expert. The only issue was that things were different now.
He had checked and found to his dismay that he couldn't utilize the elemental charge skill.
[Elemental Charge[Active][Unavailable]: Become the embodiment of your unlocked elements, as your power is pushed one tier up. When activated you gain a 700% boost to the attack power of all elemental skills, which have also been pushed up a whole tier]

The issue meant he was like every other tier 3 cultivator. All means to increase his power exponentially for a short period had been blocked.
His only way out of death was to run, or simply return to his cultivation level. In short, he truly had to be careful since his trump card was inaccessible to him.
"How long till we reach the said location of the bandit group?" Madison asked getting the full picture now. But she was still too worried.
Dere's eyebrows flickered and his expression turned slightly cold.
"We're here already," he announced, and immediately after he completed his words the carriage came to a sharp halt.
