Chapter 852: Psychic
Chapter 852: Psychic
Hao Xuan went over all the details that were provided to him and by the time he finished analyzing everything Gavril was standing behind him tapping his foot impatiently.
"What did you see? Are they good?"
Hao Xuan thought about it for a second before shrugging nonchalantly, "I don\'t understand what most of their abilities do but it says this one is a \'Void Priest\'. Do you know what that means?"
Gavril rattled his brain for answers but couldn\'t find one.
"Not really. All I know is the basic information. Their power is far more terrifying than anything I can conjure up right now so I can not go through their memories in case it backfires. But..." he paused and glanced at each of the four Orcs before continuing in a low voice.
"What I do know is that every psychic being has is categorized in one of many disciplines. Some can freely control their flesh and that of their enemies, transmitting their own bodies with different metals, harnessing the latent power of their flesh etc."
"Other disciplines include divination, pyromancy, telekinesis, and metallurgy among numerous others. But these disciplines only become obvious when their power grows beyond a point. Unfortunately, I do not have any information in regards to help to increase their progress after that but you should be very careful."
Gavril grabbed Hao Xuan by the arm and dragged him far enough away that the others couldn\'t overhear them.
"Do not hesitate to destroy them body and soul if they show any disregard of your orders. Each psychic\'s power is measured by a grade. And those that fall in the highest grades are beings of almost grotesque power."
"In the memories that I inherited from the Old King, I saw what they were capable of. At their peak a psychic is able to turn a man inside-out with a glance or snap a Battleship in half with a flick of the wrist. They can mutter a syllable and turn an army upon itself in a frenzy of blood lust. They are more than capable enough of destroying entire worlds - more often than not unintentionally."
Hao Xuan swallowed a mouthful of saliva to wet his parched throat. He glanced towards the Orc Warders apprehensively. To call them a double-edged sword would be an understatement of epic proportions. If there was any truth to Gavril\'s words then any or all of them could be nuclear bombs ready to blow at a moment\'s notice.
But he told himself that because of the power of Soul Severing Heavenly Constitution they could never go against him so he would be safe, yet when he looked at them an uneasy feeling crept into his hearts.
He went up to each of the other three and inspected their abilities and powers as well. They were all identical with the same exact bloodline. Gavril told him that the bloodline would change in due time as their powers matured and they would develop more specialized abilities along with it.
All abilities and skills other than "Infinite Leap" were shared between them but that was because of their cultivation methods which taught them so. Hao Xuan guessed that Infinite Leap was either a special ability or one related to his bloodline that had awakened in advance.
As for what it did, only the Orc himself could explain it in detail. All Hao Xuan could infer from the name was that it was a movement-related ability.
After finished with them Hao Xuan gestured towards the other 196 Orcs most of which hadn\'t even progressed beyond the Earth Realm.
They were still seated in that circular formation with each one lost in its own dreamscape.
"Why have they not seen any progress at all? They have been sitting like that for almost 2 years now and I need boots on the ground."
"They just need spiritual energy to progress their training. All the extra energy from the dreamscape was absorbed by the Warders so the rest are still stuck in the same realm."
Hao Xuan hadn\'t expected the problem to be so simple. He waved his hands and several teardrop-shaped golden crystals appeared on the ground. Each one was bursting at the seams with untamed raw energy.
These were the same ones he got from that odd world within the Pyramid. They were on a timer and now that Hao Xuan had returned to this world their expiration date was drawing close.
"Will these be enough?"
Gavril bent down and inspected each one. His mouth fell open when he felt the energy coursing through them.
"Y-Yes, these will be more than enough. Should I use them all?"
Hao Xuan nodded, "Yeah, but make it quick. I need them to be ready as soon as possible."
Gavril calculated how long it would take with this much energy to spare and the result was more than satisfactory.
"It shouldn\'t take more than a day or two. They have already been stuck in the same realm for so long so they can just rush through. You\'ll have your army soon but I suggest you have some weapons and armors ready."
