Chapter 106
After Noah had bid her farewell to Muell, who was in tears, she was immediately guided to the top floor of the Bureau of Investigation and Security. The interrogation room or detention center for questioning violent criminals was reportedly located in the basement of the building. However, Noah was taken to a luxurious VIP room.
Inside was a finely decorated bed, a wardrobe and a table. Its bathroom was also lavish, and the ceiling was graced with a dazzling chandelier.
“Isn’t it more than enough? Wow, it’s pretty much like a hotel.”
“It’s a room where the Imperial Family or nobility, brought in as a reference, stays. The door can still be locked, but the recording machine will also run. Would that be all right?”
“I don’t care. If I fall down right now, I think I can sleep for about two days.”
Kyle placed her suitcase on the table and grabbed Noah’s arm. “I don’t know how many times I’ve been saying this, but you should wash and change clothes before you plop on your bed, Miss Noah. Why don’t you do it when you change Mu into his pajamas?”
“Because Mu is a baby, and I’m an adult.”
“And Mu is a dragon, and you’re a fragile human with zero immunity and zero stamina.”
“I’ve gotten quite immune. Now, I can be so calm with your nagging.”
Kyle no longer felt the worth of arguing with Noah anymore, so he grabbed her shoulder and pushed her into the bathroom. Then, he slammed the door shut without a word. Giggling, Noah unbuttoned her dress.
Suddenly, she remembered something and opened the door. “That’s right, sir, what’s the schedule for that interrogation in the future…”
Her words soon trailed off to silence. Beyond the half-opened door, there were two men along with a woman. The man with his back on Noah, and the woman was the investigator earlier. Penelope.
“Hmm?”
Since the bathroom was situated in the corner of the room, far from the door, Noah couldn’t hear what they were talking about. However, Penelope was seen holding and pulling Kyle’s arm. Kyle followed her and soon disappeared into the hallway.
“Uh.” Noah blinked for a moment and left the bathroom. Then, she approached the door, which was left ajar, and slammed it shut. “Why leave the door open knowing I’m in the bathroom?” she grumbled.
At the same time, Noah found it a little bit strange to hear her subtle whine. She crossed her arms, glaring at the wooden door. It’s not weird. I don’t care if he’s with a pretty woman or not.
She thought so, but there remained a lingering bitterness. Noah harshly dumped water on her head and then went straight to bed after.

”Oh, come on.”
Noah is in the bathroom.
As Kyle descended the staircase, he looked back at her room hurriedly at the sudden realization. The front of Noah’s room was to be kept guarded with investigators.
Fortunately, the door was closed. Kyle sighed with relief and turned around. Her miraculous lifestyle made it obvious that she would stir around the room in a nightgown.
He finally arrived downstairs, unbuttoning his uniform, which revealed the wound he had kept from Noah. There was a sharp pain in his left side.
I think Park Noah’s dullness is quite fortunate at times like this.
Penelope, one of his immediate subordinates, hastened him. “Captain, let’s go.”
“Where?”
“I’ve called a doctor for you. You have to go right away.”
Kyle shook his head, handing his uniform to Paul, another subordinate who followed behind him like a puppy. “Just do first aid. I have a lot of work to do. Was Lenia Valtalere kept underground?” Kyle said.
“Captain, captain. It must be treated on time. It looks like it’s already opened several times!” Paul stood in front of Kyle, frightened. Kyle only shrugged while his subordinate’s hand pointed fervently at his waist.
Apparently this morning, blood was seeping out of the wound Kyle had treated himself by sterilizing it and covering with bandages thereafter. Upon seeing his bloodstained shirt, which was a new replacement for his previous soiled one, he frowned.
“We’ll take Lenia Valtalere’s statement. I’m in charge, so the captain needs to go and get some treatment! Please!”
“Since when did you think of me as weak?” Kyle ignored the pleas of his colleagues and headed to his office on the third floor.
But he breathed a deep sigh when he saw a medical staff already waiting in line in front of the hallway of the Oval Office. “Such hassle…”
“Come in, General Manager.”
A lawmaker in charge of the Bureau of Investigation and Security, known for his strictness, scorned rigidly. In the end, Kyle was forced into the Oval Office.
Bang. Penelope and Paul only relaxed after the door of the office was closed. Paul rubbed his forehead roughly. “What a workaholic. Sometimes I wonder if he doesn’t feel the sense-”
“Oh, by the way. You guys.”
Paul, who was grumbling, exclaimed, frightened as the door suddenly swung open. “I didn’t say anything, boss!”
“What?” Kyle asked back with a frown. He was half-naked, after he was forced to take his shirt off by the hands of the medical staff rushing at him.
Then, with a bandaged waist, he threw a small box of machine at Penelope. “It’s a record of all the events that happened in the ship, Angelic. Go ahead and edit it by time.”
