Chapter 188 44: The Solitary Darkness.
Their evening was long but short for Yinfra, who had seen him countless times in her dreams, all the times he was filled with despair.
She was powerless to help him, only able to remember each life and Zell, thanks to her older sister constantly recording the diary that Yinfra made each time the time reset or they were reborn in another timeline.
'I want to be with him more.... the time is too short, too cruel...' Yinfra thought as her hands stroked the face of Zell, who once again began to fall asleep after they had another round in the morning, Her eyes narrowing into crescents as she felt the large load of warmth deep inside her stomach.
"Oh, my god..." She whispered before falling back onto his chest, feeling dizzy from their lovemaking session. "What are we going to do?" The young woman asked quietly while looking up at him through half-closed eyelids.
His features looked tired yet happy; he hadn't slept much since last night's events. But then again, neither did she. And now, they both lay on top of one another, exhausted by passion. It wasn't until this moment that Yinfra realized how big Zell was compared to herself—she could feel every muscle underneath her fingers when she ran them down his arms and legs.
'Thank you, sister... Now I will always be bound to him... Even if we fail... I will make sure to return the favour...!'
Yinfra's red hair, like crimson flames, spread out over their bodies as she noticed the small changes in Zell's features, he was still the perfect him, but now the scar over his eye remained... With a look of sorrow, she reached out, wanting to heal the scar, feeling it was her fault for restoring the form she loved and wanted to remember, but a powerful arm grabbed her.
"Don't... This is our bond... Mmm....." A sleepy voice left his lips before his gentle snores, and deep breaths continued.
'Our bond?'
The heart inside her chest began to throb rapidly, she always knew that back in his previous life, these scars were reminders of how weak, powerless and pathetic he was.... dying to heal them at any cost, yet now he stopped her.
Not actively but his subconscious, a more profound and honest reaction, even more, due to his demonic and dragon bloodlines.
'Is it because of me? Is this mark no longer something negative for him... but a memory of our first night?' Yinfra was filled with a strange and passionate feeling, like the world suddenly became even brighter and vibrant, her red eyes glowing in the dull morning sun blocked by the slightly open blackout blinds.
[Sister! I am so happy for you!!!]
Yanfra's excited voice began to sound in Yinfra's mind; no longer restricted by any system made by the divines, she could contact her sister whenever she wished, enter the game and level without the avatar, although she grew to love being both Zell's beloved goddess and his cute golden tabby.
Her body stretched out as she enjoyed the strange feeling of being 'alive' before as just the avatar. She felt a strange disconnect, like she was feeling the touch of his body, the scents and smells all were distant, like a broken synchronization or she was playing a game.
[Zell truly opened his heart for the first time! Fufu~ you did it!]
'No, sister, we did it. I felt his love and affection towards both of us... When the time is right, I will return this favour.... then we can be together as a family... for eternity...'
[Oh? My little Yinfra is so cute... Big sister wants to pet her cute head!]
'Big sis' you'll make me embarrassed....'
[Are you going to let yourself be fertilized?]
The words caused Yinfra's body to shudder; because of the disconnect in her body, she didn't use any protection or barriers, unlike the other women of Zell, except maybe Cryska. She and her sister were the most likely to get pregnant from his fluids because of their matching blood and race quality.
Yinfra looked down at the mark on her pelvis, then stroked her belly images of countless cute little lynx girls running around a beautiful garden as Zell, a little older and masculine, chased them. She carried snacks after they were all tired and lying around together and listened to Zell reading them stories as the cute girls fell asleep.
Meanwhile, in the divine prison, deep under the grounds of Eden, locked in a separate world.
Yanfra, in her world, locked away, also saw this vision, except her's was more complete; the girls weren't a blur of colour, but vibrant, some with blue hair, some with red, and she was watching them all from the kitchen as she prepared a full course meal. It wasn't a dream, but a distant future that was possible; that's why she couldn't help but ask and let her little sister bask in the same dream and future as her body glowed with a golden hue, using what little remained of her power that wasn't restricted.
'Big' sis... Can I ask you a question first?'
Yanfra's body couldn't move, chained up to a pillar with strange divine language that stopped her from amassing strength, the insecure voice of her sister, but a sense of determination came from her mind as her pale lips moved, filling the silence with her gentle and melodic voice.
"What's the matter, my cute little Yanfra?"
In her half-closed eyes, the image of Yinfra stroking along Zell's muscular chest as if deep in thought, her cute bushy tail swaying in the air, causing a soft breeze like a ceiling fan.
'Sister... I want to get pregnant simultaneously.... is it bad?'
"Eh?"
The words slipped from Yanfra's mouth unconsciously; of all the things she never expected from Yinfra, who rarely acted like a mature girl when they spoke together, always treated like a baby and pampered.
'This girl... Is this not my vision? But Yinfra's ideal dream!?'
Yanfra was shocked; she believed she was the one showing this image and a dreamlike image of Zell and both of their children together, dancing and playing as a happy family; in the image, she also began to see the other women, it wasn't just her and Yanfra, that's when Yanfra realized she was too narrow-minded... This wasn't her vision or her future...
It was the future that Yinfra wanted, desired and wished for.
'My cute sister... you have managed to trick a goddess of fate and divination... such a cheeky sister!' Yanfra thought to herself before watching the dream more intently; now she knew this wasn't her's she became more invested, something she didn't understand, know or comprehend fully as she saw Rika and a pair of twin rabbit girls; the moment the lynx girls heard the door, then sniffed the air they quickly got up from their nap and dashed to the door and began to play in a big group, a strange scene as Rika sat beside Zell, massaging his shoulders.
At the same time, Yinfra lounged on the wooden chair with a cocktail that Rika seemed to have learned to pour.
"What a wonderful dream... Is this showing the people who have entered my sister's heart? Does she like that rabbit girl so much?" The whisper not reaching Yinfra as she noticed her little sister had fallen asleep while Yanfra was lost in the dreamlike future, now looking at the crimson-haired demon goddess who now drooled on their lover's chest, with loud snoring and her ass in the air.
"Sister... why are you so feminine when awake, but like this when sleeping.... please don't ruin the beautiful scene...."
Yanfra leaned back against the cold pillar, her eyes looking to the sky, now a dim blue as she had suffered for a long time in this hell of a place. Time for Yanfra was much different from Zell and Yinfra; more than ten years had passed for her, while only a week had passed for Zell since that moment; she spent her time watching his future, trying desperately to make a path where he survives, she didn't care about anyone else, it was hard enough to keep him alive.
'Soon... You will face the greatest threat of all your lives... Will you prevail in a situation that even I cannot help... Don't worry... I believe in you... My champion...'
The truth was, she couldn't control her powers in this darkness, as tears began to cascade from her dull eyes, down her cheeks now filled with countless marks where the dried tears of moments before left their trails, the ground almost filled with a layer of her tears.
Yanfra's eyes flickered as the scene of Zell dying once again was shown to her, no longer able to filter out any of his deaths, seeing all the futures related to him, good, bad, mediocre, horrific...
It was a living hell for her, far worse a punishment than she ever let on, as the dull colour of her eyes wasn't due to losing her power... Nor was it due to being locked away...
It was from her heartbreaking, shattering into pieces each time she watched him die; sometimes, she begged herself to accept it and be like those characters in novels where they grow used to it, dull to the pain, sorrow and breaking of her heart and love.
Still, it didn't work like that.... for her, each time the vision ended; her feelings were restored to the moment before the vision, with only the memories of what she saw remaining.
'Zell.... Zell... Zell....'
"Please save me from this hell... I don't want to see you die again....."
Her sorrowful cry, something she only spoke at her limits, echoed in the darkness as she desperately tried to anchor her thoughts to the happy dreams of her sister...
To no avail...
Once again, the scene from the day of his death, 7 days from now, began.
