Chapter 311 You Are No Longer Needed
Chapter 311 You Are No Longer Needed
Please read the author's note!
A/N: I don't know what happened with the chapters who are at premium in the past. From Chapter 327 to the latest one, it was changed and got messed up. I don't know how it happened. It might only be a bug, but I hope that I can fix it sooner. For now, do not waste your coins on the premium. I'll fix it starting tomorrow (next month). I might have to rewrite everything from Chapter 327. Thank you so much for your patience!

The Dragon Ancestor was trying his best to contact his friend, Gu Tian. He was afraid that his son, Long Hao, would forever remain in this state. All the anxiety was converging into his dragon heart. There was not any more arrogance left in it as though he was just feeling afraid that something unfavorable would happen. He was not someone who was proficient with Divination nor did he know someone proficient in the Divination Path.
Unfortunately, he could not see the future himself.
"What will happen now?" He kept suppressing the Carnage Lotus in his son's body. "Did Gu Tian somehow get into a problem?"
Long Sheng still tried to contact his friend but to no avail. He was also certain that the token was doing its own thing and was not something that was broken. He was sure that it was working—but why couldn't he contact him?
He looked at the Paramountcy Vessel. It was the vessel he almost involuntarily agreed to activate all of its functions. He did not know its secrets but the ancestors of the territory the Dragon Race owned always told him not to activate all of its functions as it could bring disaster.
"Did I judge something wrong?" Long Sheng felt that something was wrong.
"You don't have to think. There really is something wrong," a voice entered his ears and he subconsciously searched for it. "You don't have to search for me. I'm already beside you."
Long Sheng was startled and immediately transformed one of his hands into a dragon claw. "Claw Prominence Art!"
"That's a good name for an art," the voice commented. "Anyway, I'm not here to hurt you or your son or destroy the entire Dragon Emperor Palace. I am here to help you on behalf of my disciple."
Long Sheng, at this time, was not in his right mind, so he did not guess that this young man talking to him was Long Guang's master. However, he was internally shocked that this guy was so young and was actually able to evade one of his secret arts—something that he had created himself.
"Master!" Long Guang's voice echoed as he entered the room through a spatial warp.
Long Sheng looked at Long Guang—dumbfounded. The latter was holding a dog in his arms. There was also a very beautiful little girl. Other than them, there was also the bald guy who he assumed should be from the Holy Light Palace. Only that palace was crazy enough to have bald people. As a dragon, he did not understand their principles with regards to why they would shave their head to become bald.
"Master, you're so fast! You suddenly disappeared! I can't even keep up with you!" Long Guang was shocked by his master's speed. It was as if his master controlled both space and time to stop the latter and shift the former to this place.
"Of course, I'm fast. How would I lose to a child like you?"
Long Guang pouted and looked at his junior brother and junior sister. On the other hand, Little Green was eating some pills Yang Lujia had given him.
"W-Who are these people?" Long Sheng directed his question to Long Guang, who was initially in this room, to report to him about the situation in the palace. "I thought you were out there to quell the situation of the—"
"You don't have to worry, Ancestor! He's my master! If your friend failed to cure uncle, my master should be able to!"
"What is that flower inside your son's body?" Yang Lujia did not beat around the bush. "It's just like my first disciple's energy. Very dark. It wasn't exactly poisonous. However, if it could corrode the light element of dragons inside your son's body, then it would not be wrong to call it poisonous. However, it is not poison. Don't worry, though. I can cure him like the back of my hand."
"Wait!" Long Sheng exclaimed. "My friend might come here any minute. I promised to wait for him. We, dragons, do not turn back on our promises."
"What are promises for when someone dear to you would die at any minute now? Although he's a peak Saint Emperor, he won't last longer by now, even if you try to suppress that dark energy emitted by that lotus," Yang Lujia interjected.
Sheng Ao also nodded.
"Brother Long! Are you still there? May I come in?" a voice echoed into the room.
Yang Lujia snorted and backed away from the bed and prepared himself to watch a show. In any case, he just warned the Dragon Ancestor and made him feel afraid. He now felt like a manipulative bastard. Regardless, that was how he was in the past, so he was alright with it. It wasn't like the Dragon Ancestor would die because of it.
"Brother Gu!" Long Sheng felt like shedding tears. "You're finally here! Please save my son!"
Yang Lujia looked at this and just sighed.
"Master…" Long Guang was suspicious of this turn of events. He smelled something very dangerous. "It seems like something is going to happen…"
"You don't have to worry. That man behind the door is even weaker than you are."
"Then, master, why did you sigh…"
"How long has your Dragon Ancestor been friends with this man?"
"Oh, him? I think they were friends since the Dragon Ancestor was born. This man also helped the Dragon Ancestor crawl his way up to the throne and become the Dragon Emperor."
Yang Lujia frowned. "It seems like something is really happening behind the walls."
He felt chills from his back as he imagined the scheme of everything that was happening at the moment. He smelled the long preparation for a scheme. How sinister if that was really the case.
"I'm sorry, Brother Long. Our Temporal Lord did not have the cure anymore. I asked him about it, but he kept telling me that he could not do anything. I just came back here to tell you that…"
Long Sheng felt like his world collapsed. "Is this really it?"
"I came here to tell you what he told me to say to you."
"…"
"You are no longer needed."
