Chapter 211 The Club
The recruits are depositing spirit stones from hunting monsters while in the abyss pit.
"You got 1100 spirit stones, 50% deducted as the fee for advancing to the Sky Realm, so you get 660."
"… you get 780 spirit stones."
"… you get 612 spirit stones."
When they heard of the amount they received, their expression went sour. Even though they agreed to give up part of the stones, in their opinion, the fee cut was too big. They wanted to complain, but couldn't because they had signed a contract beforehand.
In the middle of the deposit, one of the recruits complained when they received their allotted spirit stones.
"Hey! I deposited 1200 spirit stones, why did I only receive 500?"
Then Viktor sighed in a sarcastic tone. "Do not lie. You still have 100 spirit stones hidden in your pocket. You think I don't know?"
The man was shocked, he didn't expect Viktor to find out. The queue behind him started to stare at the man, then he hurriedly stepped out of line.
With Djinn's help, Viktor finds out if anyone is hiding the spirit stone from him.
It took at least three full hours for Viktor to collect the entire deposit. In total Viktor gets 100,000 white spirit stones, 30,000 yellow spirit stones, and 4 red spirit stones. Of course Viktor only distributed white spirit stones, because trade transactions only apply for the white color.
In this way two of the three obligations have been completed; He had solved the problem of unemployment and lack of funds for the club furniture in one fell swoop.
After collecting the deposit, Viktor and his entourage immediately returned home. The results of the spirit stones from this hunt were enough to make Viktor keep smiling along the way.
It took them half a day to arrive at Perm City. After they arrived at the northern gate, the entire group separated and returned to their respective homes.
When Viktor's group was about to return to the club, Anna approached them.
When he saw the black-haired woman coming, Viktor hastily puffed out his chest, but Anna didn't approach him. Instead, she walked closer to Barry.
With a sincere smile, Anna reached out and bid her farewell. "Metal Guardian, a pleasant experience working with you. I am waiting for the next collaboration."
Barry just smiled stiffly behind the iron mask. Then they both shook hands. Viktor could only squint at the sight of his servant taking credit for his hard work.
After shaking hands for a while, they both let go of their hands.
Viktor immediately raised his hand, ready to receive a handshake from Anna. But instead he was passed by the woman. Meanwhile, Anna herself even greeted Viez.
"You're the second greatest woman I've ever met. Hopefully we can work together again," said Anna.
"Of course, I'm looking forward to our collaboration in the future."
After that Anna reached out to Jessie and Jessie hugged her instead.
"Honey, you are a great commander. Thanks to you there were no deaths," said Jessie. While hugging Anna, her eyes glanced at Viktor.
Then don't miss Liza who is standing at the very end of the line. Although the two of them rarely spoke, Anna still said goodbye.
Finally Anna said goodbye to everyone and quickly left them.
Viktor could only see the wind. He cleared his throat loudly, but was ignored. Then a sneer sounded from Jessie's mouth.
"U~ Barry, the best fighter in Heaven's Will can't wait to work with you again."
The clueless Barry looked bewildered. "Eh?"
While Viktor snorted. "Okay, okay. I understand Jessie. Let's go home."
They then quickly returned to the club.
Arriving in front of the club, the condition of the building looked different from the last three months since Viktor had seen it. The walls appear to have been repainted in ruby red. Then above it was a club sign made of wire and neon lights. Even though it wasn't lit yet, Viktor could imagine it glowing at night.
"Romanov club" Viktor muttered with a smile. He wasnt sure about this name before, but in the end the its a brand name that gives personality and prestige.
When entering the inside more start again. The floor has been replaced with polished oak so that it looks shiny. The walls are decorated with abstract painting ornaments and crystals. The Stage looks majestic, with a large screen background that can display various visual effects. Then on it stood the DJ table like a king's throne.
Rows of studio lights with 500 watts of power hung above the ceiling. Glass tables and synthetic leather sofas in blue are neatly arranged on each side of the room. In the middle of the hall leaves an empty space with a black granite floor as a dance floor.
Even though it was only 90% completed, Viktor could imagine what the club atmosphere would be like. In his eyes now, it looks like people are dancing followed the music on the dance floor. Then a group of seductive-looking women shouted in glee from the alcohol and the glare of the colorful lights.
Viktor can't wait to open his club and party all day long.
"Dear, you're finally home."
The soft voice attracted Viktor who was deep in his imagination. Meanwhile, Viez, Jessie, and Liza went straight to their room to rest.
Eva, who had been busy taking care of the workers who were decorating the interior, came over to Viktor. Without a doubt, the Swedish Princess hugged Viktor who had not seen her for a long time.
"Everything okay while I'm gone?"
Eva seemed to sigh. He advised Viktor to rest first, considering he had only come after three months of the expedition.
But Viktor shook his head. He said he was fine and there was no need to worry about him. Eva adamantly advised Viktor to rest. But in the end he relented and began to tell the problems that occurred within the club.
When Viktor left, various obstacles occurred during the development process. Starting from the problem of labor wages, furniture bills, electricity and even applicants who don't know where to get information from.
In essence, mostly due to funding problems.
Then Viktor handed Eva a large bag containing 50,000 white spirit stones.
"Use everything well," Viktor said. Then Eva smiled.
After that Viktor immediately returned to the room, but Eva held his hand. They both stared at each other for a moment, Viktor understood what he meant. The two of them hadn't touched each other in three months.
Viktor of course wanted to, but he had to save his energy for tomorrow. He still had one job to do—reinforce the railroads.
In the end, Viktor only slept that night. The next day he got up early and got ready to head back north again. This time he did not bring his angels, but only accompanied by his faithful servant, Barry.
As usual, Barry disguised himself as a Metal Guardian figure.
They both left at 10 am and arrived at the construction site at 3 pm. Luckily the weather seemed fine, so they were able to reach their destination faster.
The construction site looks busy. Workers can be seen clearing snow and digging the ground to form a long road. Some seemed to be unloading a pile of gravel.
Not far from the location, there were tents standing on the outskirts of the forest. At the edge of the excavation where the rails will be installed, a man in a black suit and clad in a fur coat is talking to the workers.
That person was the Guildmaster of the Black Company, Mr. Oswald.
