Chapter 157 Great Opportunity
Slowly, Raydon\'s heart began to race as he examined the white marble-shaped object Fang had given him.
[Inheritance Dimension Key]
-Grade: White
-Quality: N/A
-Skill: Participate
This key grants the user access to The Granite King inheritance. Participation is limited to entities of F-Rank only. The event is limited to a single participant at a time, and the key will vanish once the inheritance is successfully completed.
\'This… \'
Raydon was fighting with every ounce of his being to contain his excitement. A short time ago, he had dreamed of finding another inheritance; now, not only has that dream come true, but he has also received a body enchantment that will double the experience points he earns.
Likewise, he threw this item right away into his dimensional storage. He was worried that if he held this beauty in his hands and looked at it any longer, he wouldn\'t be able to control the urge to use it right now.
"Hahaha, good thing you accepted them." Fang took note of his expressionless face, which gave the impression of being carved from a single block of wood, as Raydon made a valiant effort to hide his emotions. He had no idea what Raydon was thinking but assumed he had accepted the items since he had placed them in his dimensional storage.
Raydon used all his shamelessness to come up with this phrase, "Yes, it\'s not bad, it might be somewhat useful for me."
"Good, good. Rest assured that what I will ask of you won\'t be too difficult. At least, I do not believe it will be challenging for you. \'\' Fang was relieved that he had attracted Raydon\'s attention and realized that he would aid him.
Seeing that Raydon was listening without saying anything, Fang continued to speak. \'\'Perhaps you know this impending rift will open up to a world that has been vanquished by a calamity with a blood attribute. \'\'
\'Blood attribute? Calamity? \' Raydon reflected on his newly acquired knowledge.
He was well aware that the fallen worlds where these rift events were taking place had been shattered by external forces. But he didn\'t understand well what happened to turn them into fallen worlds.
Raydon briefly started to go over the knowledge he had acquired from his memory and Herman\'s books.
There could be a number of causes for the end of the world. It is possible that an item holder who lived there in his time and attained godlike power destroyed their own world with their own hands, or that other extremely powerful item holders invaded and attacked that world from other dimensions, or that they did not have enough powerful item holders to stop the monsters that emerged from the world\'s rifts.
These were all potential causes of the destruction of the world. However, there was a final stage in which a world was considered fallen and became a location for a rift event. A catastrophe had to be dispatched by the system to that world so that it could be broken up, shrunk, and transformed into a rift dimension.
In addition, each of these calamities would have a distinguishing attribute. Depending on the nature of this calamity, the world where the rift occurred might have a different attribute.
\'So, the disaster that caused this world to become a fallen world had the blood attribute, and this rift that will open will also have the blood attribute, huh? \'
Raydon pondered the limited and incomplete information he possessed, but because he lacked sufficient knowledge on the subject, he decided not to continue in the hopes of acquiring more information later.
But he still nodded at Fang as though he were an expert on the subject.
Fang paused and looked at Raydon\'s reaction before continuing when he saw Raydon nod.
\'\'As I previously stated, the world in which this event will occur is a blood type, and I am searching for the inheritance of this blood type. Although the inheritance I\'m looking for originally belonged to a fire type, it became a mix of blood and fire type as a result of this catastrophe. In other words, this is an inheritance associated with the elements of fire and blood. \'\'
Once again, this new information stunned Raydon.
\'So, the characteristics of the inheritances left behind after calamity change and become a hybrid? \' Raydon was completely perplexed before remembering his and Fehim\'s joint inheritance of the golden skeleton. Fehim informed him that the arrows that were falling on them in the second stage were a space-type skill.
pαndα`noνɐ1~сoМ \'So it was actually a death-type inheritance, but it acquired the space attribute after being affected by a space-type catastrophe? Aghh… My head hurts from thinking too much. I\'ll just continue to nod as if I already know this. \'
Raydon paused to consider, then nodded calmly in response to Fang\'s words.
When Fang realized that Raydon knew everything there was to know about the rifts, he felt a great sense of relief. Normally, the formation of fallen worlds and rifts was a closely guarded secret, along with many other aspects of the system, and was known only to the most powerful families and item holders. Therefore, he was surprised that an F-Rank like Raydon had access to so much information.
\'If he even knows and comprehends such information, he must be an absolute genius. I\'m curious about which attribute he chose for his future path. \' Fang thought.
Normally, an item holder\'s attribute is not so hidden and can sometimes even be deduced based on the item holder\'s appearance; however, Fang was unable to determine which attribute Raydon had chosen for his future path after much thought.
\'\'I also have an item that can detect the location of the inheritance key I\'m looking for. So it won\'t be difficult to find. \'\' Fang finally told Raydon to demonstrate how simple what he needed to do was.
\'So I\'m only going to find him one inheritance key for all of this? \' Raydon saw a fantastic opportunity and spoke hastily, without giving it another thought.
\'\'Deal. \'\'
