Chapter 148 Fang's Worry
\'\'It\'s been a day since I sent the message, and he still hasn\'t come here. Are you certain the correct person received the message? \'\' Fang questioned, looking at the Shadow Messenger who was on one knee in front of him. He was aware that Raydon usually stopped by this store every two days to sell his items, but this time he was late.
"Raydon was not present, but I relayed the message to a young man who, like him, is an apprentice of that respected item holder. I\'m confident that they\'ve already delivered the message. \'\' Shadow Messenger asserted with assurance.
Fang frowned and began to contemplate after hearing this. Aside from Raydon, why bother training anyone else? Is that what I\'m thinking? He intends to establish a family there? \'
After some consideration, he reached the same conclusion as the Demugen family some time ago. In Fang\'s estimation, if this high-ranking individual had only helped Raydon awaken, he would have recognized his potential and desired to mentor him.
But when Dan and the others were also involved in this scenario, all Fang could think about was how this person was attempting to find future loyal servants for his family by finding and training young people who had the potential to awaken, make them strong, and serve his family.
\'I have no idea what that person thinks of the others, but I highly doubt that anyone could ever view Raydon as just an ordinary servant. \' As he pondered, the lines on his forehead deepened.
Although he had no idea of Raydon\'s current strength, he was well aware of his tremendous potential. In addition to defeating the region boss in almost every match he participated in, his other loots were evidence of his strength. Moreover, just by looking into his eyes, Fang could tell he was not an ordinary individual.
\'\'He may even consider making him a family member, but unfortunately, that monster already has a family named Demugen. \'\' Fang laughed when he thought about it.
He knew that the Demugen family had excluded Raydon from the family, though he did not know why, and he believed that if they knew all of these details, they would beg him to return to the family.
\'\'Wait. \'\' While contemplating, Fang had a sudden realization and exclaimed.
\'\'Don\'t tell me? Has his family already learned all of this and compelled him to return to the family? \'\' He began to clench his teeth as he considered why Raydon had not yet arrived to meet him.
Fang didn\'t even think about the fact that Raydon didn\'t know who he or the Trade Organization was. The high-rank behind him also had no reason to stop him from coming here. After all, Fang had gone to the trouble of sending a gift in addition to his purely formal request for a meeting, so that high-rank owed it to Fang, no matter how high his level, to send Raydon here in order to respond.
He, therefore, assumed that Raydon\'s absence was due to the Demugens.
"Master, do you want me to look into it?" The Shadow Messenger asked right away after observing his master\'s rage.
\'\'No need. There is nothing we can do, even if they force him back to their mansion. There is nothing even someone of that rank can do. We cannot interfere with the internal affairs of any family, regardless of our strength. \'\' Fang took a deep breath to calm himself before speaking.
\'\'I suppose I will have to see for myself. \'\' He said before turning around and leaving the shop. This event was extremely important to him, and he had to take action to resolve the issue.
—
\'\'Who knew that my foolish young master would become an item holder and serve a grand family? \'\' Tika murmured, crossing her milky-white legs in the spacious back seat of the black, opulent car as she peered out the window.
About a day had passed since the Demugen family meeting when they finally decided that the time was right to send Tika to bring Raydon home. She had her doubts when she saw that Raydon had recovered before, but she couldn\'t hold back her shock when the family revealed the truth to her.
\'\'Tch, from a crippled young master of a big family to a servant for a grand family. What a huge leap. He has surpassed me at this point. \'\' Her expression grew more displeased as she continued to consider the situation. She was merely the battle maid of a big family, and the distinction between a big family and a grand family was comparable to that between heaven and earth.
A big family could be classified as a grand family with the help of just one high-rank item holder. This was the ideal illustration of how strong and influential high-rank item holders were in the community.
\'Anyway, at least I was told I could use force to get him back if necessary. Hopefully, that will make me feel a little better. \' Tika felt better after having the thought and grinned slyly.
The vehicle soon entered dirty and dark alleys and came to a halt in the middle of a familiar street. The driver, who was dressed impeccably in a suit, jumped out and ran to open the door for Tika.
\'\'That\'s why I try to avoid coming here as much as possible. The atmosphere itself is irritating. \'\' She got out of the car and immediately covered her nose with a handkerchief she had taken from the pocket of her maid\'s uniform.
"Go and knock on his door. If he is home, bring him downstairs." Turning to her driver, Tika said. She did not wish to climb those rusty-looking stairs by herself.
\'\'Yes, Miss. \'\' The driver said and started to head for the stairs when he was interrupted by a voice.
\'\'Hey, what\'s this fancy car doing over here? Someone again came for the master? \'\'
When Tika and the driver turned and looked in the direction of the sound, they observed a person emerging from one of the side streets and running towards them.
\'\'Who is this pig? \'\'
Tika remarked as she watched the man run, his overly plump cheeks bobbing along with every extra piece of meat dangling from his body.
