Chapter 141 Getting The Inheritance (Part 12)
\'\'Damn! Couldn\'t handle the first, so here came the second? \'\' Immediately after taking a moment to regain his composure, Fehim reactivated his shield, blocked the incoming arrows, and cried out in terror as he stared at the other zombie soldier behind him.
As his shield was insufficient to protect him from the arrows coming from behind, he prepared to evade them when Raydon unexpectedly entered his field of vision.
"You\'ve finally revealed yourself," Raydon said as he appeared next to the zombie soldier. He grinned as he swung his great sword, puffs of gray smoke emerging from the corners of his mouth.
*BAMM*
The zombie soldier was so preoccupied with Fehim that it was caught off guard by this sudden attack; the sword blow it took caused it to drop the bow in its hand, and its body took off running.
\'\'What in the world is this guy?\'\'
As he looked at Raydon, he noticed that his normally white and pale skin had begun to turn a bright red. The blood red around his gray pupils made him look less human and more demonic.
However, it wasn\'t his outward appearance that surprised Fehim the most.
\'\'Isn\'t this the Lionheart Family\'s technique? He even mastered this?\'\' Fehim immediately recognized this well-known technique.
Since he had already seen all of Raydon\'s skills, this was unlikely to be a skill unless he had a way to increase the skill slot. He also believed that his title had something to do with defense and endurance; so it never occurred to him that it might also have something to do with the title.
\'What sort of super family is this guy from? Even forced a grand family like Lionheart to impart their technique to a stranger? \' Fehim was certain that he was descended from a super family, and he was even more fascinated to see him employ the technique of the Lionheart family, who are now renowned for their honor and war lust.
"Hey, why do you keep daydreaming? Hurry use your combo attack. \'\'
When Raydon saw the zombie soldier, whose armor had taken only a dent from the blow, slowly stand up, he yelled at Fehim.
\'My power is still insufficient even after entering Berserker mode.\' He grimaced and muttered.
\'\'Hook. \'\'
He used the hook skill to entangle the feet of the slowly standing zombie soldier, who was still dazed from the previous blow. The zombie soldier fell to the ground after suddenly losing balance with the rope that held its feet in place. Without the bow in its hand or any other tool to cut the rope, it attempted to rip it with its hands.
\'\'Decompose. \'\'
\'\'Boost Muscle. \'\'
\'\'Helix Strike. \'\'
Fehim seized the opportunity and deactivated his shield skill, ignoring the arrows that were raining down from behind him, before using his combo skills to charge the zombie soldier who was flailing on the ground.
*Snap*
Even though it had been reinforced by Raydon\'s stamina, the zombie soldier tore the rope attached to his foot with his own strength and tried to make a quick move to evade the attack, but the wave of black smoke coming in front of him stopped him.
\'\'Spirit Wave. \'\'
With its final attempt at escape blocked by Raydon\'s spirit wave skill, the zombie\'s head separated from its body as yellow smoke puffed from the severed sections as the huge ax smashed into its neck.

\'\'Dissolving Shield. \'\'
As soon as Fehim realized the zombie soldier was no longer a threat, he activated his shield once more to protect himself from the onslaught of arrows coming from behind. Even during the brief period that he wasn\'t blocking arrows, he had developed numerous new holes in his back.
"Can you use your combo skills again?" Stepping behind Fehim\'s shield, Raydon inquired. It was clear that the combo attack he used would use up a lot of mana at the same rate that it dealt out a lot of damage.
\'\'If I don\'t waste too much mana on the shield, I can use it again, but only once,\'\' Fehim said before continuing.
"Can\'t you use the same technique to get closer to it?"\'
There was only one zombie soldier in front of them, and if Raydon were to distract it with a sudden attack, as he had done with the previous ones, Fehim would be able to use his combo once more to kill it. Unfortunately, the response he anticipated completely dashed his hopes.
pαпdα-ňᴏνê|·сóМ "With its entire focus on us, I can\'t escape from its sight. Of course, it is not difficult if you have something to divert its attention, even for a split second. \'\' Raydon stated.
He didn\'t have the ability to make himself invisible; instead, all he had was an illusion that tricked his enemy. Therefore, the target of this technique must not be focused on Raydon in order to be successful.
With a guilty tone, Fehim said, "Well, I don\'t think I have anything to distract that thing."
He was attempting to approach with his shield open, but with each step he took, the arrow he had been shot at pushed him back.
\'\'Actually, there is nothing that needs to be done. Simply close your shield and reserve your mana for the combo attack. His arrows are about to run out, so we can attack when that occurs,\'\' Raydon said calmly, pointing to the fifty or sixty arrows hanging behind the zombie in a bag.
The zombie possessed no skills, and its arrows were made entirely of the bones it carried in a bag slung behind it. In addition, the potency of the arrows was solely due to the strength of the zombie and its bow and arrow.
\'\'Do you want me to close my shield? Don\'t you see what those arrows did to me? \'\' Fehim asked, referring to the holes in his body that were still healing.
\'\'It doesn\'t matter; I\'ll block the arrows. All you have to do is support me from behind. \'\' Raydon, unable to withstand the impact of the arrows that were powerful enough to cause Fehim\'s body to blow away, told him to stand behind him and prevent him from flying.
