Chapter 107 A Gamer's Enjoyment: Selling Items

While events were taking place that would have made Raydon doubt his luck stat if he had known them, he went to the item market and entered Fang\'s shop to sell the items he had.

\'\'You again? I wasn\'t expecting you so quickly. \'\' When Raydon entered, the shopkeeper was working on a different task; this time, he was organizing the items on the shelves rather than reading a book.

\'\'Have a good day. \'\' Raydon returned the man\'s greeting with a friendly greeting of his own.

\'\'All right, let\'s see what you\'ve got this time.\'\' He stopped arranging materials and went behind the counter. He didn\'t show it, but he was curious to see what Raydon would sell. Since he always found something to surprise him in a match, he really couldn\'t predict what he would sell next.

His interest was further piqued by the fact that his master, Fang, had a strong interest in this young man.

Raydon didn\'t waste any time getting a variety of mob parts out of his dimensional storage and began stacking them on the counter.

\'\'Of course, we\'ll start with crafting materials.\'\' When he saw Raydon pull out the mob parts, the man sighed. He knew Raydon well now and had expected him to save the best items for last.

He was especially curious about the body enchantment that would be dropped by the boss if he killed it again.

As the man watched Raydon pile up the mob parts on the counter, he realized Raydon was still going without stopping and that the mob parts he removed were all different types.

\'What kind of match region did he come across? It\'s impossible to have so many different kinds of mobs in F-Rank matches. \'  The man scowled as he deliberated.

Around 300 different types of mob parts piled up in front of the man before Raydon finally stopped and said.

"Can you tell me if there is any rare material among them? " He asked curiously. All of these materials came from Herman\'s dimensional storage. There were no life cores present, nor did these materials appear to be particularly rare. Raydon was either unfortunate to only obtain inexpensive ones, or Herman used them all for his research.

\'\'There are a variety of pieces here. Give me some time. \'\' The man began to examine them.

\'\'They\'re all F-rank, and there\'s no rare type. I can give them 4830 gold coins if you want to sell them.\'\' After completing his check, the man said.

\'\'Deal. \'\'

Raydon agreed right away. There was no rare material among them, as he had predicted. If it was something rare, he could keep it for himself and then use it to craft his own item, but he didn\'t want to keep materials that he could easily find in the market because he already had limited space in his dimensional storage.

After gathering all of the materials, the man chuckled and handed Raydon his gold coins.

\'\'I\'m sure there\'s more, so keep going.\'\'

Raydon smiled and pulled out the magic equipment set he had taken from Herman, including the damaged ones.

When the man saw these items, he looked at Raydon with a suspicious expression on his face. \'It\'s not what I think, is it? \'

The man said, immediately hiding his skeptical gaze. \'\'These appear to be compatible items owned by the same person. But unfortunately, two of the set\'s pieces were damaged. If it was complete, you could sell it for up to three times its original price. \'\'

\'\'Hmm. So, is there any chance of getting them repaired? \'\'

Raydon was ecstatic when he heard the triple price. These items were obviously not cheap and could fetch quite a bit of gold if sold as a set.

\'\'You can, but I wouldn\'t recommend it. Repairing an item costs the same amount of gold and time as crafting it. No one usually chooses this option if the item is not very important. \'\' The man said it plainly.

After giving these words some thought, Raydon gave up on the idea of having it repaired as well. The profit he would probably make after repairing and selling the set would not be worth the time he will spend.

\'\'So, how much can I get for all of this? \'\'

\'\'Although some of the items are damaged, there may be people who want to buy it as a set, so I\'ll give you 67,000. If there had been no damaged items, the price would have been around 125,000.\'

Raydon couldn\'t help but be surprised when he heard the price. Even with the damaged parts, the items were more expensive than any magic equipment he\'d ever sold.

Raydon accepted the offer, adding another 67,000 gold coins to the cash gold he had already received from Herman.

He then made an additional 23,000 gold by selling the gray, white, and green-grade items he found in Herman\'s dimensional storage.

\'Killing that old, ugly zombie was probably the best decision I\'ve ever made.\'  Raydon chuckled and patted himself on the back for his decision. He had earned more experience and gold by simply killing Herman than he had from matches up until this point.

\'\'You seem happy huh? \'\' The man couldn\'t help but laugh when he saw his silly grin.

Raydon quickly collected himself after realizing that he was smugly giggling. He couldn\'t help himself. He was a man with the soul of a gamer, and one of his favorite pastimes was to take pleasure in seeing the gold coins in his inventory rise as a result of selling his items.

He then took another item from his dimensional storage and said. \'\'Okay, can you tell me what you know about this?\'\'

\'\'Tch, I should start charging you for extra work.\'\' The man said, taking the small copper chest Raydon was holding out.

When he opened the lid of the chest, the man was startled to see the fully blue eye with a black pupil, and an aura of ice surrounding it.

\'\'Oh, this body enchantment is interesting. \'\' The man exclaimed.
