Chapter 67 Finally A Proper Body Enchantment? (Part 2)
[Zombie Essence]
-Grade: Green
-Quality: N/A
-Skill: Body Enchantment
Increases HP by 50% as a result of corroding cells by combining the life force with the corrosive force of the decaying body.
Raydon examined this item and thought the effect was satisfactory. '' So what are the hidden attributes? '' He inquired, his gaze fixed on her.
''Ggehegehe, It does have a few good hidden attributes. I can say that the person who uses it becomes a zombie at a 3/1 ratio. As a result, you won't feel exhausted and your perception of pain will lessen. Additionally, the majority of wounds that would normally be life-threatening won't affect you. ''
Since the woman was only discussing the advantages, Raydon refrained from inquiring about the disadvantages because he knew he wouldn't get a satisfactory response. Even though it was only 3/1, he was already somewhat aware of the negative aspects of being a zombie. In addition, with all these good hidden attributes, it was only a green-grade body enchantment, and the drawback was likely very great.
The loss of speed and reaction time was one of these drawbacks that Raydon feared the most. He couldn't let his agility deteriorate any further since it was already at the lowest point possible.
Raydon put back the zombie essence and took what appeared to be a burned, heart-shaped piece of wood. As soon as he picked up the item, he could immediately smell its burning odor.
[Ashen Heart]
-Grade: White
-Quality: N/A
-Skill: Body Enchantment
The person's heart starts to blaze with ferocious black flames of death, burning 1% of their HP per minute and turning half of that amount into MP.
When Raydon read the skill description, his mouth literally dropped open. If the bracelet he had previously purchased with the blood bat skill was regarded as self-harm, then this item should unquestionably be a suicide item.
''How much is this? '' Raydon asked while trying to contain his excitement.
Without a doubt, he would purchase this. Raydon now had 200 HP and could regenerate 1 MP per minute by losing 2 HP. It would also increase as his stamina improved.
Normally, even a regular stamina build item holder would avoid using this body enchantment, but Raydon was different. Raydon's high stamina allowed him to regenerate 2 HP per minute, and his title skill doubled this, allowing Raydon to regenerate 4 HP per minute. It was perfectly reasonable to spend half of that on MP regen.
''24.000 gold coins. '' The woman spoke directly.
The cost caught Raydon off guard. It was only a white-grade body enchantment, and even the ice veins he sold a while ago was only worth about 9000 gold.
''Isn't that very expensive? '' Raydon inquired once more. He didn't think she'd try to take advantage of him, especially with such a large price difference. In general, the people around attempted to gain trust as a seller by offering as reasonable a price as possible. After all, this was an item market for mighty item holders.
''I know it's pricey, but there's a reason for that. Ghegeh '' The woman spoke before going silent. It appeared as though she was attempting to pique Raydon's interest even further.
''Is this related to the hidden attributes? '' Raydon gave the first explanation that came to mind as to what might have caused the price to be so high.
The woman, however, added while shaking her head. ''No, I don't actually know any of its hidden attributes or disadvantages, and I doubt you'll find anyone who does either—after all, it is a unique body enchantment item.''
''Hm? What do you mean? '' Raydon asked curiously. She had successfully piqued his interest.
''I discovered this item in a rift years ago, Ghegehe. This is an inheritance item. You understand what I mean, right? '' With a rather serious expression, the woman concluded her statement.
Raydon pondered and made an effort to put his memory back together. The Rift the woman was referring to was an event that the system produced occasionally. A door known as the Rift would suddenly open in a random location on the planet, and countless creatures of all levels would burst through it to attack anything they could see.
By visiting these rifts and slaying the creatures that emerge from them, item holders could increase their experience and their gold. However, that was not the primary aspect of this event. People with a special item called "ticket" could pass through this Rift and enter another dimension.
These dimensions were rumored to be a part of the worlds of the extremely strong Item Holders who once resided there, but after those item holders died, their worlds were split into too many pieces, which led to the creation of these dimensions. Typically, the items inside those dimensions held a portion of the item holder's inheritance.
These inheritance items were discovered as a complete set on rare occasions, but even if you come across one, it's nearly impossible to obtain due to some restrictions on them. In Raydon's memory, only one person discovered this complete item set, and that person was known as the strongest Item Holder in the world he now lives in.
He could complete the full set and gain incredible features if he found the remaining parts after purchasing this item. However, it was obvious that this was just a thought because the remaining parts had probably already been lost in other dimensions or even destroyed.
Raydon thought for a while and said. ''Deal. ''
In spite of everything, Raydon still wished to purchase this item. The first was that he needed mana, and this item was ideal for him at the time, and the second was that its previous owner probably was an incredibly strong item holder. Even if Raydon was unable to locate the other components of the inheritance, perhaps he could find complementary items and come up with a brand-new set of items on his own.
