Chapter 74 The Entrance Test Started

Muramoto's eyes widened when he heard that announcement. "They're really serious about this." he said.

The initially quiet room suddenly erupted with everyone's chatter.

The participants were divided into two groups, with some of them standing up and others sitting down.

"So, how long is the event going to last?" someone asked, shouted, and stood up from his seat.

"One, two, three weeks? I haven't decided yet." Pascal answered.

"I don't care. I'm going to be the strongest!" said another.

"I'm not going to die!"

"Well, I don't want to waste my precious life here!" One person yelled out loud and started walking towards the exit.

Several people got up, too, and followed him immediately.

Linda smiled bitterly at the man who had just left the building without finishing what he had come for. She then looked at Muramoto. "How about you, Muramoto?" she whispered.

Muramoto swallowed, then took a deep breath. "I'll keep going." But his hands were shaking.

Nathan turned to his left, facing Muramoto, but he was silent.

After the atmosphere in the hall calmed down, Pascal continued his speech. "In other words, no matter if you are experienced or inexperienced, you have to be ready for everything that we will throw at you!"

The atmosphere in the hall was still silent, and it grew tenser as time went on.

"You have one hour to decide which party you want to join or form your own."

The participants were silent.

"In an hour's time, I'm giving you an additional chance if you want to leave this place."

Pascal was silent for a moment. He then turned back.

The floor behind him moving and being lifted. The floor was opened, and a big door appeared in the center of the room.

From there appeared a large portal with black and gray energy circles that rotated slowly.

"This is a teleportation gate that can accommodate dozens of people entering at once. Form your party, and enter the gate as soon as you can."

Several people rushed forward to take advantage of the extra opportunity. Some others got up from their chairs to get away from the tension they felt in the room.

Pascal then got down from the podium and walked towards the big door at the end of the room.

Muramoto looked around the room, trying not to draw any attention to himself, then turned to Nathan. "Nathan-san, we should form a party."

Muramoto showing his new Hunter Device. "All the information we need is available here, as well as an application for match making with all the remaining participants."

Linda nodded. "We must do our best!" She shouted loudly and stood up suddenly. Then she clapped her hands together hard, and everyone in the hall heard it clearly. Everyone stared at her with astonishment; most were confused why she was so happy after hearing that they would die if they were chosen to fight someone else later.

Muramoto turned to Linda with a stiff face. "Linda-chan, aren't you attracting too much attention?"

"I'm just having fun! And I'm sure that none of them will be willing to fight against me," Linda said cheerfully before sitting down again.

Muramoto and Linda moved their chairs around in a circle, so it was easier for them to discuss with each other.

"There are several things that I think need attention from what Pascal kocho said." Muramoto explained.

Linda nodded slowly but listened carefully.

"First, he mentioned an hour time limit. But I don't know whether the later we enter the gate, it will reduce the benefits we get or not, I'm not sure."

"Yes, exactly. That's why you should choose your companions as soon as possible!" Linda pointed out something important and added, "It's not about how many people you have in your party, because as long as you can communicate properly and act as a team, you're good to go. And I think the three of us are enough."

Muramoto continued talking with a serious expression on his face: "I agree with you here, but I still want to say this." He stopped for a moment to gather his thoughts and looked at Nathan before continuing his explanation: "We can't go in haphazardly. We should form a proper party. We don't know what we will face inside, and I think the three of us are not enough for this. It would be better to work together more smoothly than to rush into something without thinking through our steps. This way, we could take full advantage of all our strengths and avoid any pitfalls."

Nathan nodded silently while listening to Muramoto.

Linda paused when she heard Muramoto's words before she answered him: "Ahh, Muramoto, you're just talking without giving a solution."

"I think I agree with what Muramoto said." Nathan answered.

"So then, what do you suggest, Oppa?"

"I'm just saying, I'm willing to follow whatever plan you guys come up with!"

Linda slapped Muramoto's back hard, causing him to flinch forward. "Do you want to hear his plan, Oppa? What he said is not much different from what's in my head."

Muramoto turned to Linda with a still stiff face. "At least, I'm still trying to help, Linda-chan..."

"Okay, what do we need to make a solid party?" Nathan said, then turned to the side at the same time Luna appeared there.

She waved her hand. "I'm here to help if you get stuck, Master." She said and smiled sweetly at Nathan.

Nathan nodded slowly, then turned to Linda and Muramoto. "Guys, listen, everyone is panicking like us. But we have to keep thinking clearly. We are looking for the minimum requirements to form a solid party. Then we immediately enter the teleportation gate."

Muramoto showed something from his Hunter Device. "Some people have formed a party and entered the gate. And see, there's a party of one hundred people at a time," he continued.

Nathan nodded slowly. "Mr. Pascal only said to form a party, without limiting the number. This further adds to the considerations that we have to think about."

The first day of the entrance test to enter CEHA has started. What decision will this team make?
