Chapter 57 55- Yang Su In Distress
After a while, Xi Shen open his eyes and released a large breath of air.
Since he had only half his blood to purify Xi Shen had already completed the Blood Purifying Realm and was now considered a Bone Reconstruction Realm cultivator.
After opening his eyes Xi Shen then glanced down at his body to see a thin layer of black goo coming out of his pores. These were the impurities within his blood.
Also, along with that, he suddenly got a strong urge to relieve himself in the bathroom.
When purifying the blood one also purified their organs, mainly their intestines. Since the impurities in the blood were easy to expel from the body via pores, for internal organs, however, they had to find another way out.
Within a flash, Xi Shen’s figure disappeared from his position on the floor, after which the door to his bathroom slammed shut as he quickly entered it.
Not long after, violent toilet sounds reverberated from the room.
If anyone was standing outside of the door to Xi Shen’s bathroom at this moment, a horrendous smell would have crawled its way into their nostrils and liquefy their brains. Coupled with Xi Shen’s bathroom endeavors and the impurities that left a trail to the bathroom, the smell was completely atrocious and would immediately cause anyone to expel their stomach juices.
After what felt like hours, Xi Shen’s clothe-less figure that was dripping with droplets of water could be seen exiting his bathroom.
He had decided to take a bath while he was in there to clean off the smelly and sticky black goo from his body.
Even for a thirteen-year-old nearing fourteen in a month or two, he had a lean physique with well-proportion muscles. Some could even say he had the physique of a perfect being, a God, and well, due to his Heavenly Physique that wouldn’t be far from the truth.
Smelling the scent in his room, Xi Shen looked down where he had been sitting to see a trail of black sludge leaving there to his bathroom.
With his lift hand covering his nose, he raised his right palm towards the black sludge, and from his palm then flowed Time Qi that came from his dantian.
It reached the small puddle of black sludge where he was sitting before it started covering the trail leading to his bathroom.
Xi Shen let his hand drop after cutting off the flow of Time Qi.
The reason why the Time Qi flowing from his dantian was so slow, was because he hadn’t opened his meridians as yet. Well, all of his meridians were already opened due to his Heavenly Physique, but along their paths, an area or two was there that consisted of the Spiritual Qi Physique that caused those open meridians to be useless for the time being.
So, without a medium for the Time Qi to flow, he had to let it slowly pass through his body to the outside world, there he controlled it to surround the black sludge.
After some time of watching, Xi Shen waved his hand, and the Time Qi over the puddle dissipated into the void.
Looking at the spotless floor and sniffing the air, Xi Shen was pleased with his accomplishment.
What he had done was manipulated his Time Qi to affect the black sludge but try and left the floor and everything else unharmed. Even though a few places on the floor had signs of aging, it wasn’t much and Xi Shen was happy with that since it meant he’d made some improvements in controlling Time Qi.
As for further comprehending the Laws themselves within it, he’d have to hold off on that for the moment,
As of now, for his Spiritual Qi cultivation, he was in the Bone Reconstruction Realm. For his days of old cultivation, or rather Law Cultivation as Xi Shen named it, he had reached Initial Comprehension of the Six Basic Laws, the Fire Laws, Water Laws, Metal Laws, Earth Laws, Wind Laws, and Wood Laws.
Back in his past life, the way comprehending the laws worked is that after comprehending the Six Basic Laws to a sufficient level, those cultivators would use those Laws as a Foundation to comprehend a more complex Law, and only that Law. Though there were cultivators who chose not to and instead stick to comprehending one of the Six Basic Laws.
So back then in the God Era, there was the God of Fire, the God of Water, as well as Gods of the other basic laws, and several others who chose to comprehend complex laws.
Cultivators back then were few in numbers, since one of the Empyrean Rules governing the God Domain, was that two different cultivators couldn’t comprehend the same Law.
Even with Heaven's Blessings, cultivating one of the complex Laws was difficult for those cultivators. And only a few had managed to do so, where the Heavens had acknowledged them as having become the sole heir to that Law.
Leaving the rest who were struggling to comprehend that law as well to have no choice but to switch to another Law. It was basically a race back then to gain the position of Heir to one of the Laws.
So you could imagine some of the wars that were wage back in the God Era by the cultivators. To Xi Shen, they were nothing more than a puppet of Heaven that was being used for its amusement.
After giving them its blessings to comprehend the Heavenly Laws, it just watched as these people battle to become its subservient slaves.
Thinking of those cruel and harsh times he had to suffer through in his past life, Xi Shen closed his eyes and intake a large breath before releasing it, to calm his emotions.
He didn’t want to think about those memories as yet, he wanted to live the life he couldn’t have back then before he delved into figuring out what truly happened to those Gods and why the world was how it is right now.
After coming out of his thoughts Xi Shen decided to leave his seclusion.
Even though he could break through the Bone Reconstruction Realm to the Meridian Opening Realm in one sitting, he had time to spare and there was no merit in rushing it anyway.
For Xi Shen, cultivating through the Four Physical Realms was extremely easy because with his Heavenly Physique he only had half the work to do. In fact, if his body wasn’t in the state it was now, he could have long reached the Sea Expansion Realm.
Flipping over his palm, a new set of clothes appeared in Xi Shen’s hand, and he quickly put them on.
While a hair tie hang carelessly between his lips, he used both of his hands to gather his hair into a ponytail, before holding it with one hand and grabbing the hair tie to tie everything together.
When he was finished, he realized that a few bundles were hanging at either side of his head. Couldn’t be bothered to go over that tedious process Xi Shen chose to just ignore it.
After finishing getting dressed, he open his room door and exited.
On his way to the main dining room, he passed by a table that had several Spirit Fruits within a bowl. Xi Shen casually grabbed one that was on top of the pile before he place it to his lips and took a bite.
Spirit Fruits weren’t just ordinary fruits, but rather they were fruits that were rich in Spiritual Qi.
The fruit he was eating was called the Fiery Plum fruit, and it got its name because of its red appearance as well as the fact that it contains Fire Qi.
Even though it was a fruit eaten leisurely by cultivators in the higher realms, for a Qi Condensation Realm cultivator who was cultivating Fire Qi, eating one of these fruits would be equivalent to cultivating Fire Qi for a month or two.
Before long, Xi Shen came upon one of the many open doorways leading to the main dining room, and he wasted no time to step through it.
The midday sun was shining overhead, unhindered by any clouds in the sky.
As this light refracted on Xi Shen’s hair, its once light-brown color appeared to become slightly golden. This was another feature caused by his Heavenly Physique along with his golden eyes.
After squinting due to the sudden brightness, Xi Shen’s vision became normal once again and he looked in the middle of the main dining room to see Yang Su sitting around a table.
The main dining room was an open area, so there was no roof overhead. Due to this, it was obvious to see that rain had fallen recently from the damp floor and slightly wet stone table and chairs.
It was approaching the end of the year when the season gets quite rainy, but that wasn’t the reason why Xi Shen’s eyes had widened slightly and he paused biting into the Fiery Plum.
That was because in front of Yang Su were several dozen envelopes ranging from different colors, with flashy designs on the cover.
Yang Su who sensed the approach of Xi Shen, turned to him with a look of distress before he stood and came up to Xi Shen.
“Elder brother Xi Shen, you finally came out of seclusion, please help me I don’t know what to do with these.”
