Chapter 408 - 408 - Looked For
He took his cell phone from his pocket. Then he looked for Soo Yin's cell phone number.
tring ... tring ... tring ...
There was a ringing sound coming from above the bed.
"Why is her phone here? Damn it!" Dae Hyun cursed while turning off the phone.
With hasty steps, now Dae Hyun descended the stairs to meet Aunt Xia who was still in the kitchen.
"Auntie, Soo Yin is not in her room," said Dae Hyun breathlessly.
"Did Soo Yin say goodbye to Auntie of where she was going?" he added again.
"No, sir. Before leaving, auntie still met with Miss Soo Yin in her room," said aunt Xia.
"Tell Chung Ho to look for her in this house. I'll look for her outside," Dae Hyun ordered.
Dae Hyun immediately got out of the house and then headed to the garage where his car was parked. His mind was currently in complete chaos.
Dae Hyun remembered that last night Soo Yin whined for permission to go to campus. But he didn't allow it with a reason that her condition was still very weak.
"You careless girl," said Dae Hyun while hitting the steering wheel.
The man then drove his car in a high speed through the dark night.
Dae Hyun looked for Soo Yin to campus. He didn't care about the cold air that penetrated the pores of his skin which stabbed into the pit of his heart.
The campus had not been quiet because there were people who entered the curfew for lectures.
Dae Hyun was still standing while watching the medical school building under the falling snow that was getting heavier.
"Dae Hyun, what are you doing here?" asked Mi Young, while holding an umbrella in her hand. Then shared an umbrella to cover Dae Hyun's head which was already full of snow.
"I'm looking for Soo Yin," said Dae Hyun. He was about to walk away but Mi Young held him by the hand.
"Is she not home yet?" Mi Young frowned.
"You met her?" Dae Hyun stopped his footsteps. Glanced at his arm that Mi Young held with a look of disapproval.
Mi Young then let him go.
"This afternoon we met because I happened to be filling the class," said Mi Young nervously because Dae Hyun was still looking at him with disapproval.
"I'd better go," said Dae Hyun. His hunch said that Soo Yin wasn't there.
"Wait," said Mi Young.
"Wear it so that your body is warmer. You don't even use a coat in the middle of the snow," she added while handing the scarf into Dae Hyun's hands.
"No need, you need it much more than me," Dae Hyun said bluntly. He still remembered very well that the scarf was a gift from him when he came home from vacation from Japan.
It had been tens of years but unexpectedly Mi Young still kept it.
Mi Young squeezed the scarf in her hand. She had deliberately wanted to give it to Dae Hyun. There was little hope if the man who was her lover still remembered their memories.
"Dae Hyun, is it wrong that I still love you." Mi Young smiled bitterly when she saw Dae Hyun who slowly disappeared. She chuckled remembering how Dae Hyun was so worried about Soo Yin. An evil thought crossed her mind, wanting to snatch Dae Hyun back.
"Mi Young, wake up. You can't ruin someone else's household." Mi Young hit herself in the head for thinking stupid things that she shouldn't think of.
Mi Young chose to go in because she wanted to pick up her belongings that were left behind this afternoon.

Dae Hyun was back on the slippery road. He had just contacted someone to inquire about Soo Yin's whereabouts. But the result was nothing. They said that Soo Yin had been home since noon.
Dae Hyun massaged his temples with one hand so he could think clearly.
"Honey, where exactly are you right now?" A tear fell from the corner of his eye.
His cell phone suddenly rang. Dae Hyun glanced at his cellphone which was above the dashboard. There was Park Soo Hyun's name clearly displayed on the screen.
"What?" Dae Hyun said in a very lethargic voice.
"Hyeong, please come here right now!" shouted Park Soo Hyun from across the phone.
Dae Hyun could hear the sound of a commotion that seemed to be going on. There was a scream of punishment, although it was not very clear because it was very noisy.
"What? Are you causing trouble?" Now that his head was about to explode, a problem about Soo Yin who hadn't been found yet. Now Park Soo Hyun contacted him, for making a fuss even though he had just left the house.
"Help me, Hyeong. We are currently in trouble," said Park Soo Hyun.
"I'm busy, take care of yourself!" Dae Hyun said coldly.
"Master, help us. Come here quickly."
The sound of sobbing directly pierced Dae Hyun's heart. The voice of the girl he had been looking for.
"Soo Yin, where are you guys now?" Dae Hyun said without asking what really happened. He was sure that their current situation was not fine.
"We… we…," Soo Yin stuttered because she didn't know the name of the place.
It turned out that the Village Chief took over the phone, showing Dae Hyun the way so he could get there quickly.
"Okay, I'll be right there."
Dae Hyun was really shocked to hear what happened to his sister and wife. How could they be together? Were they having an affair behind his back? Anger and worry mixed into one.
Dae Hyun didn't care about slippery roads anymore. He continued to drive his car snaking through the winding road.
His chest felt very tight and sore. The image of them having done something bad immediately haunted his head.
"Arghhhh!" Dae Hyun shouted. Again he hit the steering wheel even harder. He was so angry that he almost hit the road barrier several times.
