Chapter 393 - 393 - I'll Get Married
"Of course it doesn\'t matter. You\'ll soon be his sister-in-law so don\'t be shy. If he gets angry, please forgive him. He\'s a quieter type of guy than Park Soo Hyun. It\'s hard to joke around him." Mrs. Park told a little about Dae Hyun\'s nature.
Soo Yin\'s head felt dizzy when she heard Mrs. Park said that she had always been her future daughter-in-law.
"Mom, let\'s go in here first," cried Aeri, who had entered a branded clothing store with fantastic prices. She went in first because she could not stand to hear their chatter which made her even more fed up.
Mrs. Park continued to hold Soo Yin\'s arm until she entered the shop.
Honestly when she saw the clothes that looked good, Soo Yin wanted to have them. But she realized she didn\'t even bring money. Even though there was an ATM card given to her for shopping and college needs, how dare Soo Yin to take it out in front of her mother-in-law. No one would believe that Soo Yin had that much money.
"Soo Yin, choose what you want." Mrs. Park woke Soo Yin from her daydream.
"No need, Mom," Soo Yin refused. This was the second time her mother-in-law had taken her shopping. Soo Yin felt bad for always buying luxury goods.
"Don\'t be shy because I already think of you as my own daughter. I used to really dream of a daughter when Park Soo Hyun was born. But it turned out that he was a man," said Mrs. Park while chuckling.
"Hopefully someday mother will have a granddaughter," said Soo Yin.
"Then hurry up and marry Park Soo Hyun so that I can get a granddaughter soon," whispered Mrs. Park in Soo Yin\'s ear.
Soo Yin was stunned to hear that. She regretted for having said the wrong thing. Shouldn\'t have said that so Mrs. Park will not be provoked.
Soo Yin even forgot that she had not answered Park Soo Hyun\'s declaration of love. To refuse it, she felt incapable because she did not want to hurt him. But if their relationship was like this for too long, it was possible that Park Soo Hyun would later feel more hurt.
Soo Yin really felt dizzy when she thought about it. If only the accident hadn\'t happened, surely by now, Park Soo Hyun would have known the answer. Soo Yin\'s lips felt numb if she had to say it again.
"Soo Yin, why are you daydreaming? Are you feeling unwell?" said Mrs. Park because she had been observing Soo Yin who was always pensive.
"No, Mom. I\'m fine," Soo Yin said quickly. She immediately stood up from her seat and followed Mrs. Park.
"Then get married immediately so that you don\'t have to work and someone will take care of you," said Mrs. Park, deliberately provoked Soo Yin\'s reaction.
"Of course later… I\'ll get married," Soo Yin stammered. It really felt heavy on her tongue when she had to say it. She was even married and in her life, Soo Yin only wanted to get married once. Aging with the people she loved.
"Then this weekend mother will take you to dinner," said Mrs. Park with a meaningful smile.
Soo Yin just knitted her brows without answering or denying it. She didn\'t want to think about whatever her mother-in-law was planning. If it was true that later she would invite her, Soo Yin would find an excuse not to come.
They then proceeded to choose clothes to the various shops there. Mrs. Park also invited Aeri and Soo Yin to shop for bags and shoes.
=================
The Silla Seoul Hotel.
Soo Yin was now back at the hotel with her hands were full of shopping bags. Mrs. Park who gave it all. Even though Soo Yin had refused if she didn\'t want anything. But the refusal would be meaningless in the eyes of her mother-in-law.
Soo Yin deliberately asked to be escorted to the hotel with the excuse that there were still her belongings that she left in there. Soo Yin\'s real reason actually because she was confused of where to be escorted.
If she lied again, Soo Yin was afraid that one day they would visit the fake place she pointed out. She was also tired of always having to lie.
With staggered steps, Soo Yin stepped out of the elevator. Her legs were tired and sore, barely able to support the weight of her body. Plus her stomach felt sore, it was very difficult to stand up straight.
Not far away, Jae-hwa walked over to Soo Yin to say hello. As soon as he saw Soo Yin\'s strangeness, Jae-hwa then quickened his pace.
"Soo Yin, what happened to you?" With a quick movement, Jae-hwa supported Soo Yin\'s body who almost fell to the floor.
"I\'m fine," Soo Yin said, while smiling bitterly. She tried to stand up on her own. She shook her head a few times to feel light.
"Let me help you." Jae-hwa can\'t bear to see Soo Yin\'s pale lips. He led Soo Yin to sit on a bench not too far away.
"Soo Yin, where have you been?" Jae-hwa asked when he saw the paper bag in Soo Yin\'s hand. Then helped to put it on the floor.
"I… Mrs. Park asked me to go shopping," Soo Yin said as she leaned back on the chair and massaged her head.
"Mrs. Park is very kind to you. Luckily you are close to her," Jae-hwa said sincerely. There was no offensive tone in his voice.
"Hmmm." Soo Yin smiled wryly at Jae-hwa\'s statement. If only he had known everything that had happened, there would be no way he would have said such a thing.
"I\'d better go back to my room," said Soo Yin. After feeling her head was now felt better.
"Let me carry all of this," Jae-hwa said. Without Soo Yin\'s approval, he then took the paper bag string and hung it in his hand.
"Thank you for helping me," Soo Yin said. Just as she stood up, Soo Yin saw a sharp gaze on her. But Soo Yin acted normal because she didn\'t do anything with Jae-hwa.
Jae-hwa was just helping her.
