Chapter 347 - 347 - It's All My Fault
"I want to see him. Can I go to the hospital?" Soo Yin gripped Dae Hyun\'s fingers tightly. Hoping that the man would allow her to visit Park Soo Hyun.
"Better you come tomorrow morning. It\'s too late, you need rest anyway. If you want to come to the hospital you can go with Chung Ho. I can\'t pick you up because mom is so shocked." Dae Hyun steeled himself to try to smile a little while rubbing his wife\'s cheek.
Soo Yin nodded her head. She could understand that at this time Mrs. Park was devastated.
"But Park Soo Hyun is fine, right?" Soo Yin was eager to know the condition of her brother-in-law.
Dae Hyun was silent for a while. If his condition was good, it was impossible for the doctor to treat him very long.
"Pray that everything is going to be fine," Dae Hyun said bitterly.
"Then why are you here? Why don\'t you take care of mother?" Soo Yin said.
"Mother is with Aeri at the hospital. I can\'t possibly let you stay here until morning. That\'s why I came here," said Dae Hyun.
"It\'s all my fault. I shouldn\'t have kept him waiting too long for the answer I was about to give. An answer of refusal would only hurt him." Soo Yin covered her face with both palms.
"Come on, don\'t blame yourself. You better go home now. Don\'t think about it," said Dae Hyun, he was standing up and sitting next to Soo Yin. He held her tightly in his arms.
"I am indeed to blame," said Soo Yin who was sobbing with tears that had already flooded Dae Hyun\'s clothes.
Dae Hyun rubbed Soo Yin\'s back gently as he kept trying to persuade his wife to come home.
After persuading her to go home, Soo Yin finally agreed to return to the Pyeongchang-dong villa. Dae Hyun led Soo Yin to walk to the parking lot because her body was weak.
"Chung Ho, I entrust Soo Yin to you. Take good care of her, don\'t forget to tell Aunt Xia to take care of her because her body is very cold," Dae Hyun said to Chung Jo.
"Yes, sir," said Chung Ho.
Dae Hyun stayed there until the car Chung Ho was driving slowly disappeared.
Only then did he continue his journey back to the hospital. Before returning to the hospital, Dae Hyun wanted to know where the accident happened. When he passed the road that Park Soo Hyun might take, it turned out that the road was still busy.
Some police seemed to be conducting an unfinished investigation even though the incident had been going on for quite some time. Dae Hyun could see Park Soo Hyun\'s wrecked car on the side of the road. There was also another driver\'s car which was badly damaged as well.
Dae Hyun decided to stop his car on the side of the road. Then wanted to go out for a while just to find out a little about the incident. His feet continued to tread the asphalt towards one of the vendors which was located not far from the side of the road.
"Was there an accident in here, sir?" Dae Hyun said politely. The curiosity in his heart couldn\'t be contained to find out what happened.
"There was a white car that drove through a red light, it was speeding so fast that a collision was inevitable," said a middle-aged man who was a snack seller.
Dae Hyun was relieved, at least it wasn\'t Park Soo Hyun who was driving recklessly.
"Can you tell me a little bit?" Dae Hyun asked.
The man who was selling the food then told a little of what he knew. When Park Soo Hyun\'s car was running slowly, it was hit by a white car.
Dae Hyun closed his eyes, unable to imagine what happened. The car even bounced far from the crash site. No wonder if until now the doctor hadn\'t finished handling Park Soo Hyun.
Dae Hyun\'s head hurt to think about it. Moreover, Dae Hyun could see that there were traces of blood scattered on the asphalt which was slowly covered by the increasingly heavy snow.
After asking the food vendor a little, Dae Hyun stepped into Park Soo Hyun\'s car which had a police line installed.
Near the car, Dae Hyun found a bouquet of white roses whose petals had been scattered on the asphalt. Dae Hyun\'s chest tightened when he saw it. It turned out that Park Soo Hyun really wanted his little wife.
"I\'m sorry," Dae Hyun mumbled quietly.
Since the police didn\'t allow anyone at the location where the incident happened, Dae Hyun decided to return to the hospital.

Hallym University Medical Center.
Night was getting late. The hospital was also deserted. There were only a few people that were still passing through the hospital corridors.
Mrs. Park continued to cry waiting for news of her youngest son.
Dae Hyun sat down next to his mother who was leaning her head on Aeri\'s shoulder. He took over the position to hug her.
"You\'d better go home. Let me wait for Park Soo Hyun. If there is news, I will definitely contact you, mother," Dae Hyun coaxed. He rubbed Mrs. Park slowly to provide calm.
"I\'ll still be here," said Mrs. Park, insisted on refusing.
"Park Soo Hyun, what really happened to you? Why are you speeding?" continued Mrs. Park while shedding tears again.
For four hours the operating room door was closed and quiet. There was no sound of any activity that could be heard from outside.
After waiting for a long time, suddenly the door opened. It made the people there both relieved and anxious.
Dae Hyun and Mrs. Park suddenly stood up. The middle-aged woman wanted to know her son\'s condition immediately. Her limp legs tried to walk towards the doctor and the nurses, who one by one, had started to leave.
"Doctor, how is my son?" Mrs. Park took the male doctor\'s hand and shook it.
"Be patient, Mom," Dae Hyun said while holding his mother\'s shoulders. He also felt very anxious.
