Chapter 110 - 110 - Find Jo Yeon Ho
Jo Yeon Ho was angry so he left the house quietly until he didn\'t know where was the way home. The boy continued along the sidewalk holding his growling stomach. His steps stopped when he was in a small restaurant. He kept looking at someone who was enjoying their meal.
The child sat in front of the tavern until a woman came out. That woman was none other than Jean who had just bought food.
Jean watched Jo Yeon Ho, who was sitting on the terrace, looking down at him, then she approached him because she was curious about a small child on a night like this.
"Are you waiting for someone?" Jean asked. She looked around but found no one.
"I… I\'m lost," Jo Yeon Ho said while looking up. His eyes filled with tears as if he was about to cry.
"Where is your house?" Jean continued to observe the cute face she seemed to have recognized.
"At UN Village, I don\'t know the way back," Jo Yeon Ho said. Even though he was still small, the boy knew where his address was. However, because it was night he did not know.
Jean thought for a moment that she seemed to have seen the child who was now in front of her. His face looked familiar.
"Then I\'ll take you home," Jean said. Everyone must know where UN Village was because it was a famous housing complex with rich people living in that area. According to Jean it was not too far from there.
"I\'m hungry," Jo Yeon Ho said with an innocent face.
Jean was stunned to hear that. How could a child from a rich family starve on a night like this. Were they even too busy to take care of their son properly.
"Let\'s eat first." Jean invited Jo Yeon Ho to go back into the restaurant. Even though her money was not enough, she can buy at least two servings of Ramyeon. Hopefully the kid won\'t get a stomachache after eating it.
Jean ordered a bowl for Jo Yeon Ho. The boy immediately ate it with gusto, made Jean smile. The child looked very cute because he put the food in his mouth until it was full.
"Cough… cough." Jo Yeon Ho almost choked because his mouth was too full.
"Slow down," Jean said as she patted Jo Yeon Ho\'s back then handed him a drink.
Jo Yeon Ho sipped a glass of water until it wasn\'t left then put the spoon back on the table because he had finished eating.
"If I may know, can you remember your parents\' names?" Jean asked curiously.
"My father\'s name is Dae Hyun," Jo Yeon Ho said with a flat face.
"What? Can you say it one more time!" Jean widened her eyes until they almost fell off when she heard that the child in front of her was the son of her boss.
"My father is Dae Hyun," Jo Yeon Ho said lazily.
"Is your name Jo Yeon Ho?" Jean asked to make sure. No wonder she thought she had seen the child\'s face. Jean just remembered seeing the boy several times at the hotel.
Jo Yeon Ho nodded his head lazily.
"Then let\'s go home! Your father and mother must be worried about you right now," Jean said as she got up from her seat.
"I don\'t want to go home before my father comes home," Jo Yeon Ho said as he crossed his arms across his chest.
"But it\'s late," Jeansaid gently. She also needed rest so she wanted to go home immediately but it was impossible to leave the child there alone.
"If you want to go home, go! I\'ll stay," Jo Yeon Ho said.
Jean didn\'t know how to persuade a child. The shop was open until midnight, but it was too dangerous to let a child stay there. What if a bad person kidnaped him? then she will be blamed.
"Tomorrow, your father will come home," Jean said again. It crossed on her thought to contact Soo Yin but she stopped her intention. There was a feeling of annoyance every time she remembered how the man she liked actually liked her best friend.
"I want my father to come home right now!" Jo Yeon Ho exclaimed, ignoring Jean\'s words.
Jean suddenly came up with the idea of contacting Park Soo Hyun. She believed that the man can help her because Park Soo Hyun was Jo Yeon Ho\'s uncle.
Jean immediately sent a message to Park Soo Hyun to come to where they were right now. It turned out that it didn\'t take long for Park Soo Hyun to reply to the message saying he would come soon.
Jean invited Jo Yeon Ho to get out of the shop. Luckily the boy wanted to follow her to sit on a bench at the edge of the sidewalk. It turned out that persuading angry little children was difficult too.
Jean opened her coat to cover Jo Yeon Ho\'s body, which seemed cold. Even though her body also felt cold, it didn\'t matter to her as long as Jo Yeon Ho was fine.
A car stopped right in front of them. It was Park Soo Hyun who had just gotten out of the car.
"Jo Yeon Ho, finally uncle found you," Park Soo Hyun said while hugging his nephew\'s tiny body. Everyone was confused when they found out that Jo Yeon Ho has disappeared.
"Why are you two together?" Park Soo Hyun asked as he looked at Jean\'s face.
"I just bumped into him here," Jean said as she rubbed her arm to warm herself.
"Everyone is very worried. Jean, thank you for calling me," Park Soo Hyun said sincerely. He felt lucky because Jean found Jo Yeon Ho. If a bad person found him it will be very dangerous.
"You\'re welcome," Jean said briefly.
"Let\'s go home," Park Soo Hyun persuaded as he crouched in front of Jo Yeon Ho.
"No, I want my father to come home." Jo Yeon Ho looked away.
"It\'s late, tomorrow morning your father will definitely come home," Park Soo Hyun said.
"Call him now!" Jo Yeon Ho was adamant about meeting her father immediately.
Park Soo Hyun tried to call Dae Hyun\'s cellphone but the number was not active. Then call Soo Yin\'s cellphone but it was the same, not active. As long as Soo Yin catched up with her brother on Jeju island their number becomes difficult to reach.
"Why is it always inactive?" Park Soo Hyun grumbled, feeling annoyed with his brother.
Jean kept staring at Park Soo Hyun\'s handsome face. A man who was able to make her heart tremble, but Jean must accept the harsh reality that this man loved someone else.
"Jean?" Park Soo Hyun called when he saw Jean who continued to stare at him without blinking. He was shaking his hand in front of the girl\'s face to bring her up.
"Ah, sorry," Jean said, she woke up from her reverie. Her face flushed with shame that she was caught observing Park Soo Hyun\'s face.
Park Soo Hyun was acting normal. For him it was used when there were girls who would be bewitched by his good looks.
After tried even harder, Park Soo Hyun finally managed to persuade Jo Yeon Ho to come home with him.
"Jean, come on in. I\'ll take you home," Park Soo Hyun said, he had put Jo Yeon Ho into the rear passenger seat. Now the child was asleep.
"No need, I can go home alone," Jean said.
"I beg you, come in. I have something to talk to you about," Park Soo Hyun said with sparkling eyes.
Seeing the happy Park Soo Hyun, Jean was suspicious of the man.
Without Jean\'s approval, the man immediately pushed her into the front passenger seat.
Jean didn\'t say anything during the trip until Park Soo Hyun finally opened his voice.
"Do you live alone?" Park Soo Hyun asked.
Jean turned her face towards Park Soo Hyun. This was the first time he had asked about her life. Usually what was always asked was about Soo Yin.
"I used to live with my mother, but now I live alone. But after Mom left the hospital now my mother lives with Auntie because I work from morning to night. I don\'t have time to take care of my mother so I leave her with Aunt." Jean lowered her head. She felt that she had failed to be a child because she could not take care of her mother when she was ill. But if she didn\'t work then they won\'t have money for medical expenses.
"I hope your mother gets well soon so you can live with her again," Park Soo Hyun said as he reached out to rub Jean\'s shoulder.
"Thank you," Jean said with a smile. Happy because someone cares about her.
"I want to ask your opinion," Park Soo Hyun said.
"What for?" Jean frowned. Curious what Park Soo Hyun really wanted to ask her.
