Chapter 43 - 43 - Hot
Soo Yin headed to the kitchen. There was Aunt Xia who was preparing a menu for breakfast. She was cleaning the ingredients to make Bibimbap while humming.
"What did Ahjumma cook for breakfast?" Soo Yin asked, who was already behind her.
Aunt Xia was shocked by Soo Yin\'s sudden arrival. She was cleaning some ingredients under running water.
"I will make Bibimbap, Mr. Dae Hyun\'s favorite food," Auntie Xia said.
Soo Yin suddenly thought about preparing breakfast for Dae Hyun. Incidentally today she\'s not going anywhere. She wanted to learn to be a good wife, even though she was not sure she can do it.
"Ahjumma, just let me prepare everything," Soo Yin said.
"No, Miss. You better wait at the table," Aunt Xia said politely. It was not that she didn\'t want to let Soo Yin cook, but a little doubt that Soo Yin can do it.
"Yes, it\'s okay. Ahjumma can do something else," Soo Yin said as she pushed Auntie Xia away.
Aunt Xia obeyed Soo Yin\'s request to leave. Allowing the girl to prepare. This was the first time Soo Yin wanted to prepare breakfast for Dae Hyun.
Soo Yin looked for a recipe for how to make Bibimbap on her cell phone. Follows every step of the way.
It didn\'t take long before Soo Yin started setting the two bowls of Bibimbap on the dining table. One bowl of Bibimbap contains stir-fried meat, boiled vegetables, seaweed, sliced raw vegetables and also a half-cooked egg placed in the middle. To complement the taste, Soo Yin also adds hot chili paste, soy sauce and soybean paste.
Dae Hyun, who had just come to the dining table, immediately wanted to eat the dishes that were already available. Looks very tasty and appetizing.
"Did you make it?" Dae Hyun asked as he sat on the chair.
"Ah, I\'m just continuing Ahjumma\'s work," Soo Yin said while scratching her head which didn\'t feel itchy.
Soo Yin observed Dae Hyun who was still wearing the shirt from last night. The pants haven\'t been replaced yet. Feeling suspicious that Dae Hyun hasn\'t cleaned up.
"You didn\'t shower?" Soo Yin asked.
"Didn\'t I say that I couldn\'t do it myself? My arm still ached," Dae Hyun said.
"You\'re so dirty!" Soo Yin said while pretending to cover her nose.
"Then after we have breakfast you have to help me," Dae Hyun said.
"Hurry up and eat," Soo Yin said to change the subject while handing him chopsticks and spoon. Can\'t wait to hear comments about her cooking. Really hope that it tastes good enough.
Dae Hyun started eating Bibimbap. Enjoyed the taste that was a little too salty. But It doesn\'t matter at all while Soo Yin was the one who cook. Happy finish the food.
Dae Hyun continued to enjoy it, so that Soo Yin won\'t be disappointed. But after a few chews his mouth started to burn. His throat felt hot. Couldn\'t take it anymore, Dae Hyun immediately took a glass filled with water and then drank it all.
Soo Yin hasn\'t tasted it yet. She felt something was wrong when Dae Hyun kept drinking. Her stomach was rumbling for food, so she joined in to taste. Just swallowed one bite, Soo Yin immediately spat out the food that was in her mouth. Her tongue was burning.
"It\'s so spicy!" Soo Yin cursed while looking at Dae Hyun.
Dae Hyun lowered his head, holding his stomach which was in a lot of pain. But tried to hold back.
"Dae Hyun, what\'s wrong with you?" Soo Yin asked, she was worried as sweat started pouring out of his face. She then walked over to him to confirm his condition.
"I\'m okay," Dae Hyun said as he tried to stand up. But suddenly his body collapsed to the floor.
"Dae Hyun, wake up!" Soo Yin shook Dae Hyun\'s body in panic.
Dae Hyun didn\'t move. His eyes were now closed. Auntie Xia who heard Soo Yin\'s scream immediately rushed into the dining room to find out what happened.
"Miss, what happened to Mr. Dae?" Aunt Xia asked.
"I don\'t know, after eating he suddenly held his stomach like he was in pain," Soo Yin said with trembling hands.
"Does the food taste spicy?" asked Aunt Xia.
"Yes Ahjumma, my tongue also burns when I eat it," Soo Yin replied.
"This is bad! He can\'t eat too spicy." Auntie Xia was also worried about Dae Hyun\'s situation. She forgot to say that Soo Yin shouldn\'t put too much chili paste in his food.
"How about this? Dae Hyun, wake up!" Soo Yin shouted hysterically. Putting Dae Hyun\'s head on her lap. The man\'s face looked very pale.
"Dae Hyun, wake up!" Tears were pouring out of Soo Yin\'s eyes. Very afraid something happened to him.
"Get up, don\'t leave me!" Soo Yin shouted tearfully. Keep patting Dae Hyun\'s face to wake up.
Dae Hyun felt something trickle down his cheek. Opening his eyes slowly. Can\'t bear to see Soo Yin who kept crying. Dae Hyun just pretended to be unconscious to find out that Soo Yin was worried about him
"I\'m not going to leave you," Dae Hyun said, smiling broadly.
"How outrageous! It turns out you lied to me." Soo Yin felt annoyed at being lied to. To vent it immediately pinched Dae Hyun\'s waist to teach him a lesson.
"Awww, it hurts," Dae Hyun said as he tried to avoid it but Soo Yin kept pinching him until his stomach really hurt now.
Dae Hyun immediately sat up, squeezing his stomach. Immediately go to the bathroom because he can\'t take it anymore.
"Ahjumma, is he really sick?" Soo Yin asked, she was already sitting on the chair.
"Soon Ahjumma will get some medicine for him." Aunt Xia hurried off to find the medicine box in the cupboard.
