Chapter 122: Ms. Lin Ping was the true big boss! (2)
In the future, Meng Yuran would start his own entertainment company and go head-to-head against the male lead whereas Meng Shanshan would join the entertainment circle and go up against Zhang Xiruo, the female lead…
But, the male and female leads of this world have the statuses of being hand-picked by heaven. Naturally, nobody that went up against them would end well.
These things may not happen, but there was also an undeniable possibility that the plotline could continue to go the way that it was intended to. The key was how to avoid or alter it.
Her becoming an actress was not an option…
She possessed neither the ability to use her acting skill to stage a counterattack herself or to assist her two children to stage a counterattack.
She could, however, use the original owner’s money to get into the movie industry early in time in order to reduce the power of the entertainment circle!
Lin Yiyi didn’t have that much money herself, but the original owner did.
This was the first time she had seriously considered using the money that belonged to the original owner.
She wanted to give it a try for her two children.
She had no idea if she could succeed, but she would never find out if she didn’t try.

The very next day, Lin Yiyi decided to first pick a location for an office.
The original owner has a lot of properties under her name. Other than the ones that were up for rent or in the middle of their leases, there were still a few of them that were in their window periods.
Just like the location for her restaurant, the suitability of the location of the office was vital. And if an office was what she had in mind, the venue couldn’t be too small in size.
She finally decided on a new office building that was close to the commercial district and not too far from her house. The drive to the office from where she lived was just a little over 10 minutes.
Now that she has the money and an office location, the only thing left to do was to register her business and all the other necessary approvals — things such as TV filming permit, movie production permit, and all the other permits required by the National Radio and Television Administration…
That was all a challenge without someone to help out.
Which led to Lin Yiyi’s first time hiring outside her field of expertise.
There was no way Lin Yiyi could keep the fact that she was trying to launch a film company under wrap.
Not to mention that she had no intention to keep it on the down low with the scale that she was doing it.
When Ms. Lin Ping called and asked, Lin Yiyi was a little worried that Ms. Lin Ping would disapprove of it.
After all, she could still remember the derogatory tone in Ms. Lin Ping’s voice when she said “actors” the last time they talked about the film emperor.
It was obvious that Ms. Lin Ping was no fan of the entertainment circle.
To her surprise, Ms. Lin Ping’s reaction was quite the opposite of what she had anticipated. “Why didn’t you say something sooner if you intend to start your own film company? When Lao Gu and I were there, we could have helped you network. Networking is very important in this circle. Plus, you can’t possibly take care of all the grunt work yourself.”
Ms. Lin Ping was truly an experienced one. She was able to point out all of Lin Yiyi’s biggest headaches that she was currently facing in just a few short sentences.
“I was just about to hire some employees to help out and planned on notifying you when all these have been settled. But you have found out all about it already.”
Thinking about it, it made perfect sense that Ms. Lin Ping had found out all about it.
She had been looking for an office location, registering for a company, and hiring. She has been using old Chauffeur Wang’s service as she was too busy to drive herself around.
All of the chauffeurs and nannies in the house were under Ms. Lin Ping’s payroll.
