Chapter 22 Will We Ever Rest?
"What is the aftermath of Izek?"
Lucas asked one more time.
Haya had no intention of answering his question after he had decided to run away for no reason, in his eyes Lucas was a spoilt brat.
"You can not lie there forever, get up, we have to go."
"No, wait a fucking minute." Replied Lucas as he slowly removed Kali's hands from his head.
He shook his head and looked at the man standing in front of him, 'I may look pathetic, but I have a right to know what's going on?' His inner thoughts took over his body.

[Goodbye.]
Lucas was surprised to hear the new upgrade to the system, 'I am getting new abilities!' A wide smile gradually turned into a small laugh as he punched the air and shouted in his head, "Yaaa!"
"Indeed you are." Kali's voice was low, she was speechless.
They both paused in the same position, not expressing their real excitement and feelings as Haya spoke up again.
"Get up, you slug, we have to go." He crossed his arms without saying anything else.
It looked like he was already anticipating Lucas' system upgrade, but the feeling he was holding in did not allow him to show much of his emotions.
"Who are you?" Lucas looked up and asked him in a cool tone, not leaving his online character behind.
"Me? Pfff, you better tell me who you are?" Haya leaned closer to Lucas.
His hazel eyes sparkled in that dark forest.
"Why did you get Izek's powers?" Haya asked him again.
"Izek's powers?" Lucas shook his head, not understanding what he was talking about. "Why is everyone acting so weird here?" he questioned.
"Yes, you have the white phoenix to control, that's Izek's avatar." Haya tried to explain to him.
Lucas raised an eyebrow and opened his frowning mouth, leading Haya to realise that Lucas was an idiot, not only an arrogant being, but an idiot in his eyes.
"Listen, Izek..." Haya put a hand on his forehead, "look." He added as he took something out of his pocket.
"Spirit of water, show yourself." Haya whistled as he held a small stone in his hand.
In a few seconds a small amount of water appeared in front of everyone, it looked like a tiny ghost but in water form. It had cute black eyes but no mouth.
Haya reached out his hand and this creature landed on his palm, it looked so cute that even Lucas wanted to touch it.
"What's that?" Kali's pupils grew large like a little bunny's. She admired this little thing in Haya's palm. "He is so cute!" She gasped while covering her mouth with both of her hands.
Lucas turned to Kali and only now noticed that she'd a human form, "Kali, why are you human again?" He widened his eyes.
"I don't know." She answered him quickly and moved closer to the little creature in Haya's hands. "It's so cute!" Kali's voice changed to cute and soft.
"It's a spirit, the one Izek has in his system is the Avatar." Haya nodded.
"What's the difference?" Kali lifted her head to see what Haya was trying to say.
Meanwhile, Lucas was still lying on the floor
"The Avatar is your familiar in this place, if the system allows it, it means you're levelled up, here, I'll show you." Haya put the stone back in his pocket and the small water creature disappeared from his palm .
"System, open the abilities," Haya spoke aloud, giving orders to the system.

[Goodbye.]
Haya smirked, feeling a little proud in front of these two newcomers.
"Wow, the system listens to you?" Lucas remarked, that was the most surprising thing about all the information the system had given him.
"Pff, you can control the system." Haya's tone sounded a little harsh. "Every avatar in this place has a meaning and a job to do." "Wait, so you think we can control this stupid, evil system?" Lucas finally rose from the ground, thinking it would help him think better.
He removed the sticky leaves from his white trousers, which he still wore in this shabby place. His face was still a little dirty, but at the moment it wasn't clear whether it was from Toburo or the old moss he was lying on.
"Then why won't the system listen to me?" Lucas didn't allow Haya to answer and asked him another question.
"I don't know, probably because it doesn't like you." The corners of Haya's lips had lifted slightly.
Just as they were talking about the system, Kali heard a strange sound coming from the north side of the forest.
"Guys, I think we should keep moving." Kali's voice trembled.
Even in her human form, she still had the ability to hear and smell things better than any other human, her senses for danger were also sharper.
"What're you talking about, pink dragon?" Haya's eyes widened a little, he was confused, how would she know?
"There's something coming, something big, it looks like a huge dog." Kali's heart began to beat faster, her pupils became smaller.
*Boom* *boom*
The noise coming from the north sounded similar to the previous one. There was no sign of any other creature in the forest, they were alone here.
[Activate system]
"No, not now!" Lucas sighed.
[Go to the city of the elves]
[Goodbye]
"She doesn't really bother to be more specific, or at least helpful." Lucas tried to joke.
Haya didn't find it funny, because Kali heard another being approaching and the system suddenly reported that they should hurry to see the elves, something was wrong.
"Hey, pink dragon!" He called out to Kali.
"My name isn't pink, it's Kali." She frowned. Kali felt insulted.
"Turn back into a dragon and get us out of here," Haya ordered. "Just use your abilities." He added.
"I can turn into a dragon by using my abilities?"
