Chapter 477 Found!-1

Chapter 477 Found!-1

He poked his head out a few times and immediately noticed the difference in skill from his previous encounters. Due to his sudden entry and his positioning at the motel\'s top floor, only a few guys were present, and others were climbing stairs to reach his position.

The people on his floor were more skilled, probably because Elise was on this floor. He could sense her presence and knew she was still unconscious. Maybe they didn\'t want her to fight back and give her more doses of the sleeping agent, but it was good.

The thick wooden plank he hid behind became increasingly tattered with each passing bullet. He had to devise a plan; he could go in and attack freely, but he noticed the cameras all throughout the corridor.

Although he was hiding his face and was wearing all-black attire, if his power got known by the world, it would only create chaos. So he had to think about something else.

He looked at the dead man lying on the floor, saw a few gas cans tucked into his bulletproof vest, and took them out. It would be impossible to see through the thick smoke, but he was not relying on his eyes for vision. He could easily bypass any obstacle, given his powers remain hidden.

" Hurry up! He is just above us! We are given shoot to kill so don\'t\' hesitate!"

" Fuck! What\'s wrong with our radios? How did a rat slipped passed all our men?"

Samuel began hearing chatter from the floor below and knew they were close. If he didn\'t move now, he would be in a pincer attack, which was terrible no matter how he thought about it. He adjusted his mask and closed his eyes; pulling the pin off the gas grenade, he threw several in the hallway and a couple of others down the stairs and started moving.

" He is trying to escape go after him!"

" But we can\'t leave the package here, you two go to the roof and check where he went. I will take care of things here."

Seeing thick smoke, everyone thought Samuel was running through the roof, with only one way out; they were sure they could catch him before he left their sight. Two people ran up the stairs while people on the top floor made their way with heavy footsteps supporting them.

Huxley sent six people who were renowned throughout the underworld for their skills. Most people didn\'t know the existence of the shadow family, but still, they didn\'t care; they only wanted skills, and these people never failed at their mission.

They acted as a private army to hone their skills; no matter how well trained and how many experiments were performed on these people without experience, they were greenhorns on the battlefields.

This was why the families would send people on this dangerous mission; it gave them extra money and immense fame whenever they emerged from the world under different banners.

Four of them stayed around Elise\'s room while the other two carefully made their way through the thick smoke. They wore top-quality gas masks that didn\'t restrict their movement or sight like the standard masks.

They were two meters apart, with a person in the back having his sight in the front at all times while the forward man would search rooms looking for his target. Both were using thermal sights but could still not differentiate friends from foes due to their distance.

Samuel was lying beside the corpse, waiting for his moment. he had seen a few people pass by through the smoke, but they couldn\'t see him in the corner due to the smoke. They went straight ahead, thinking he was trying to flee.

Samuel waited and saw the two people coming out. he didn\'t know they were using thermal scopes at first, but he guessed their intention by how they were moving and checking corners.

Unlike what people know, thermal cameras cannot see through walls. Walls are generally thick and insulated enough to block any infrared radiation from the other side. If one points a thermal camera at a wall, it will detect heat from the wall, not what\'s behind it.

Seeing their barrel about to be pointed in his direction, he lunged at the enemy. He directly bent the barrel into a mess that exploded in the enemy\'s face. Samuel was protected, but it provided great cover because everything was white in their thermal camera.

" Shit! He is still here!" Even though several shards were dug into the man\'s face, he still alerted his party.

Samuel shut him up with his pistol and drilled a clean hole through his chin. Another man started firing, but Samuel pulled the corpse before him to protect his body and started running. It was hard to imagine his speed carrying a two-hundred-pound man with one arm, but he did it.

He threw the body with extreme force in the enemy\'s direction; it provided a short window for him to make his move. Pulling out both of his pistols, he started firing precise shots at the enemy.

Both men were already dead; one was killed by Samuel, while the other was made into a sponge by his teammates. It was like a death situation for them; mission took the utmost priority for them.

If sacrificing one person led them to victory, it was no brainer for them to choose that option. Anyone on their team would do the same; it was an unspoken rule in their team.

" Fuck! Fire everything! Burn it to the ground."

" Wait! Wait! We have been at it for couple of minutes now, I think he been long dead."

" Shit! I can\'t see anything through the smoke. Andrea? You alright?"

"..."

" Is he dead? He must be right?"

" Let me see." Two men crawled out of the room and carefully approached the farthest room from them. The team captain was watching their movement, but his heart was still uneasy for some reason.

They had already made a mess and knew people would probably have noticed the massive gunfight inside the motel. He had to burn everything down for them to purge any evidence, especially about his dead teammates.

As the dust was about to settle, several shots came through, which landed on leading men\'s faces. The captain saw the other teammate slaughtered by the unknown assailant!
