Chapter 344 Flat Hunting?

For Ashley, he was saved as she saw him doing it again; at least he was not doing it voluntarily, which restored some faith in her. She couldn't deny that she was also a little excited during the shoot.

She never showed it openly, excluding her blushing but having Samuel this close and intimate really pulled some strings in her heart. After messing with Samuel a little, she returned to the changing room.

What everyone didn't know was that she had to change some underwear. Hopefully, she brought a spare one, just in case. She was embarrassed when she looked at the damped part, but this secret she would carry to her grave!

"Good job." George leaned into his side when he saw Ashley walk away.

"Thank you."

"I mean for controlling yourself, especially while.."

"Stop, stop! I get it. Can we please change the subject?" Samuel halted in between; he didn't want to discuss such things with an old man.

"Alright, now go on. It's already too late, I would love to have dinner to commemorate but I am not young anymore. I can't lose sleep or else I would be worse tomorrow."

"It's okay. I will get going then."

Samuel had already changed when Ashley came out of the dressing room. Samuel was standing while chatting with her agent; when he saw her come out, he went straight in her direction.

"Ashley, why don't we grab dinner together? Your agent hasn't eaten too; let me treat both of you?" Samuel suggested. It was already midnight, and they had been swamped the whole evening. Samuel was sure they would just be as hungry as him.

"No problem." She would refuse if he suggested going out alone with her, but with her trusted agent, she had nothing to worry about.

It's not like she didn't trust Samuel's character; she just needed someone to remind herself not to go overboard. Who knew what her heart would say after having a few drinks? She didn't want to appear easy!

Samuel again asked the old man if he wanted to dine together out of courtesy, but he gave him the same answer and refused his invitation.

Samuel quickly found a twenty-four-hour restaurant with a suitable environment, mostly some private space which would help them not gather unwanted attention. The driver was familiar with the place, so they reached it in under ten minutes.

They sat together and ordered several dishes, nothing fancy, but they only needed to fill their stomachs. Samuel and Ashley mostly talked about movies during the meal, and the atmosphere was warm. Her agent looked enviously at Samuel, but Samuel didn't ignore him and would bring up several conversations.

After dinner, the two of them also exchanged phone numbers. Samuel also dropped her and her agent back at their hotels, but before parting, he apologized again when they were alone.

"By the way, Ashley, I really didn't mean to do that." He was embarrassed, but he had to clarify again and again.

"I don't blame you, really, but Sami, you were really a bit silly at that time." She only said this and ran into the hotel entrance, but not before turning back and giving him a huge smile. Samuel couldn't find any fault with her statement; he was awkward, unlike his usual self.

...

...

...

*bang* *bang* *bang*

Fuck, who is it? So tired, I don't want to move. Samuel grumbled in his sleep. It was already late when he came back to the hotel, which was nearer. But someone was already banging at the door? Why not ring the doorbell, for god's sake!

*bang* *bang* *bang*

He specifically put the "Do Not Disturb" at the door too. Do they have no eyes? Was the service this poor for the five-star hotel?

"Boom...Boom...Boom" Whoever it was kept banging on the door, which annoyed him even more.

He had to pick up the watch beside his bed to look at the time; it was eight in the morning. He came back a little over three in the morning but was so tired that a few hours of sleep, which would suffice on average days, was not enough.

The knocking continued, and he reluctantly rubbed his sore eyes. Ultimately, he got up with a jerk and opened the door.

It didn't surprise him to find the culprits lingering in the hallways; Princess Sibylla and Paige were standing there like dummies. They were about to say a few words, but seeing the haggard expression on Samuel's face, they decided against it.

He looked at both of them, annoyed.

"What is it? Can't you see the "Don't disturb" sign on the door?" His face was a little dark. It was too early for him to be dealing with them.

"Ha ha, Really? I have been in Europe for so long that I almost forgot to read. I am sorry." Sibylla made a crude joke, and as expected, no one laughed.

Paige even rolled her eyes, seeing her cheeky expression; she, too, was a victim of her continuous banging. It was too shameless, but what could she do? She was already dragged out here!

Samuel sighed, he couldn't say anything mean, or he would have to console her later because of it. He just went along with it.

"Did something happen? I really need to sleep few more hours to get over my fatigue from yesterday's shooting." He was a little impatient. The boy needed his beauty sleep!

"Samie, accompany me to see some houses?" She woke him up this 'early' to drag him around like a house agent? Damn it, was that why you knocked on my door early in the morning?

Samuel was about to snap and knock her out with a swift karate strike. He almost did it, but seeing her dilly-dally while swaying her body, he knew it would be considered an assault for all instances and purposes. You couldn't knock someone out for disturbing your sleep, right?

"Wait a while; I'm going to wash up." But he knew she wouldn't stop until she got what she wanted. His chances of getting more sleep were no longer an option; he had to give in for a few more days.

After half an hour, the three sat in the hotel restaurant, staring at each other. It was more like two people looking at their prey, Sibylla.

"Why do you want to buy a house all of a sudden?" Samuel was drinking coffee, looking a little depressed.

"Didn't I tell you I plan to study in the University? I can't find myself living in school dormitory hence I told my parents to arrange for a house. It would also be more convenient if i want to bring my friends over?" Sibylla implied in their direction.

Don't try to pin this on us! Samuel and Paige both sighed, hearing her explanation.

But Samuel thought that having a house in the city was good. The Beverly Mansion was a little isolated; one needed extensive lands to build such mega-mansions; such a thing would be impossible in the city's heart.

He could also buy it for emergency purposes. He couldn't be living in the hotel room. Also, living in a big house surrounded by nature was too lonely. His thoughts suddenly made him feel refreshed; at least the day would be productive.

After talking, the three got on the Rolls-Royce and headed toward their destination. Thankfully, Sibylla already had a property in mind. They directly went to a newly opened project that he chose yesterday.

It was a luxury, top-notch apartment complex at the city's heart, five hundred meters from all the basic amenities. It was currently hailed as the best few apartments in LA, with sixty-one floors and a total of ninety-four residences.

As elites stayed in the building, they had a complete hotel management model, twenty-four-hour butler service, and several private independent elevators that one could lease out.

Higher-end flats were equipped with high-end services such as the owner's swimming pool, gymnasium, a private club, a twenty-four-hour dining service, global travel arrangements, and personal shopping consultants.

Of course, even setting foot in the area was not a cheat; they had utilized every inch of this place, which was why they ranked in the top ten list of most expensive places according to per square foot cost!

This let them have impeccable standards; it was expected from them to see the type of influential people showing immense interest in buying one of their flats.

Moreover, they were incredibly picky about their customers; every resident had to be recognized in some sense. They had to have some influence to hold their own living here and had to maintain utmost privacy. Ultimately, money was the most minor sought-after quality while selling these apartments, as it was one of their basic requirements.

They had a unique firm to evaluate the potential buyers in all aspects, including their social status and moral character. But these were not the worries of the little girl; Sibylla was the youngest Princess of the Swedish Royal Family. How could they find fault with her? She was the type of person they were seeking the most!
